SPY REPORT
Welcome back, my sweets! I hope that all of you are well and that you had an
enjoyable week at the tourney. I traveled to watch the fights for a few days but had
to hurry back for arena day here in beautiful Seam. I do enjoy the travel, but much
prefer to be in the comfort zone of my press box and reporting on all the fights in
this arena! So, let's get into today's arena action!
We knew a new Duelmaster was in our future, but we did not know how we were going to
get one. Our new champion will come to us by blade or recognition! It looks as if
BLADE was chosen by the Fates this time! Lord Protector Jayce fought Requiem on his
way out of the arena, but it looks like the nifty new title of LORD PROTECTOR was not
enough for Jayce to overcome Requiem. So, we have a new Duelmaster and next turn we
will have a NEW Duelmaster! That's right, Lord Protector Requiem will be leaving us
next turn. The big chair must have a trap door under to the Isle on it because we
keep losing them to immortality! Requiem is managed by Nomad.
The most avoided team for the turn is inactive From the Left. They were avoided
mostly by Way of All Flesh. Way of All Flesh only has two (2) active warriors in the
arena, so you can read between the lines and guess not too many people issued avoids
this turn. The most challenged warrior for the turn is Twofeet D'Grave. He got a
surprising challenge from 26 points below him. Vox Sunfire got brave (or stupid), and
it did not pay off! Lord Protector Twofeet D'Grave leaves for the Isle with another
win on his record. Another brave (or stupid) challenge worth mentioning is Fal
Icetooth's 24-point up challenge to Gehena. Gehena won. Is anyone surprised? I am
seeing a pattern here with these Darque Knight warriors. I am also seeing lots of
losses (for the curious they went 0-5 this turn).
There were lots of dead once again, but they all came via the Dark Arena. Way of All
Flesh continues to send most of their new recruits to the Dark Arena. Has anyone told
Manray a new team is cheaper? I can think of a few reasons to keep a team and try
your luck with the Dark Arena, yet none of them are cost-effective. Eh, who enters
arena life worried about the cost? If that was truly a consideration, we would not
enter arena life! Six (6) deaths and all by night! This is perhaps the most Andorian
turn I've seen in a long time. I won't even address the down challenges. They are
not worth the ink.
Phantom Regiment is still the top team while all the movement is taking place below
them. Vendetta moved into 2nd place from 5th. Thirsty Thugs had a small slip and move
to 3rd, while Pixelbenders hold steady in 4th. Lost Sentinels move up one into 5th
place. Darque Knights fell 4 places for the turn's largest loss. And, it looks as if
Weirding Ways six spot gain makes them the largest improvement for turn 141.
Time for me to go, my darlings! I do want to welcome Hero's Inc to our fine arena.
You will find most of the populace welcoming. I encourage you to introduce yourself
to the arena. I would also recommend reading the newsletters and get a general idea
of your new neighbors. Not all of it is good news, but this is still one of the best

To those interested: TwoFeet d'Grave is 17-12-11-15-9-9-11 Waste. Pretty bland
overall. A 9-will waste is a new thing for me but worked reasonably well. Sometimes
he just seemed to show a knack that was impressive. Then he wouldn't. He graduates at
26-20 with advanced Experts in Init, attack and defense and a master in parry.
Clearly, the favorite learn was defense. Retirement calls, but it is the retirement
of the graduated.
Allmight -- You did it! Almost the whole Regiment has been gradually working our way
to graduation recently. You finally got me over the hump. Much appreciated! Nomad
might not be impressed with those stats, but I'll happily take them into immortality!
