TEAM SPOTLIGHT
Congratulations, Seam! You reached a great milestone last turn as you achieved
150 turns! It has been nearly 6 years since New Seam was christened as the 3RD No
Tourney arena for Basic play (May 19, 2015 was the exact date for those interested).
Werewolf from Light of the Moon was the arena's first Duelmaster, but he would not
hold that title for long, losing the next turn. Eh, does not matter that he lost it.
He is now forever a part of Seam's history as the first Duelmaster.
The Yellow Press began when Shadowspire opened. We wanted a dedicated news
source that focused primarily on the no-tourney arenas. The Gladiatorial Commission
was kind enough to grant us a charter, so we set ourselves to the work! With each no
tourney arena opening, we opened branches in Telorinthe and then Seam. It was here
the New Seam Journal was born.
Following are just some tidbits of information about Seam. We keep track of
awards and achievements throughout the arena's history and like to present those
treats to you every 25 to 50 turns. These categories are objective. The Commission
reports the data, we collect it, and put it in a nice package for you to enjoy. The
only section that seems to generate any controversy is the Best/Worst groupings. I
say those too are objective because we merely take the best win/loss percentages (or
worst win/loss in the case of the worst warrior) and declare them to be the best. Oh
well, you cannot make everyone happy!
We have, for the sake of time and print space, only listed the top 3 unless we
consider it an individual award such as most kills or longest streak then we only
listed the record-holder. If you would like information specific to your team with

SPY REPORT
You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to SEAM once again! Hmmmph! I always thought ROBO VILLAGE was an
over-rated team and they proved it with a 0-0-0! Ya gotta be quick on yer feet!
Keep your elbow off the table! Thrust! Block out the pain! HERO'S INC is now
ranked 5th with a 3-2-1 turn. Some people say I ramble too much, I don't say
anything relevant. I repeat myself. I ramble. Well PIXELBENDERS moved up 1, to
6th. What's with SAM? He actually beat DARQUE KNIGHTS' JABB FROSTBLEED, and walked
away with 19 more points from the fight. Major screwup at THIRSTY THUGS. FLAZOR
lost 10 points to SAMWISE GAMGEE. Some new strategies, perhaps? Maybe FLAZOR will
provide more easy wins... See how the Duelmaster Bloodfeuded DARQUE KNIGHTS' FAL
ICETOOTH? That sort of initiative is how she got where she is now. Try as she
might, FAL ICETOOTH wasn't good enough at persuading ASCENTION to step down from the
Duelmaster's throne... Advice to fighters with a 1 will--give up fighting!
Speaking of cowardly avoiders and unfair challenges... How well I know the
feeling of being in the most avoided team! Don't fall out of practive, THIRSTY
THUGS! In my day, no team with a 366-355-10 would scare me off! What's the problem,
PHANTOM REGIMENT? How well I know the feeling of being the most challenged warrior,
CODEX! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt you. SUNDER expects the
easy win by going 24 points down. HALFTONE will find this a hard lesson! Just who
can SUNDER beat? I mean, the last matchup with lesser-ranked HALFTONE shoulda been a
piece of cake!
