TEAM SPOTLIGHT
Good people of Seam, and the rest of you -- I clearly need to pay more attention
in here, I can't tell who are jerks and who just need a Snickers and a nap. In the end
it doesn't particularly matter, as a prominent writer of heavy metal music lyrics
penned long ago, 'from the moment you're born, you're dying.' (props to anyone who
knows that individual, no research allowed). Nevertheless I'm going to have to go all
Bugs Bunny on the lot of you and put a brick in my glove. A real one.
Be that as it may, there's no need to bunker up in our little enclaves. A little
birdie told me (after pooping on my shoulder. He was delicious.) this town desperately
requires a house of refreshment and relaxation. A place wherein to be wrapped in a
warm towel of hospitality to just short of smothering, where everyone knows your name,
CC# and last transaction on 'OnlyFans'. It's like CBGBs at 7am on a Sunday. Fine
people of Rock Ridge, er, Seam, it's about time a new establishment opened its doors.
Welcome to the Grand Opening of 'the Six5'! Why 'the Six5' you ask? It's how tall
I am when I don the dragon motif platform boots previously stunk up by Gene Simmons
which I recently completely overbid for on Kreig's List! I got them for a pair of my
underwear! (He also threw in a foot massage but after extensive deliberation with my
closest advisors I humbly requested that he pay it forward. He shrugged, 'Your loss'
and seemed to believe it.).
Beverage selection is second to none (well, second to maybe a couple -- I mean
they are REALLY good -- but we're working fairly diligently to close that gap), you'll
delight at the blizzard of quirky little Tapas'" delicacies (I say little but in all
honesty they are closer to tiny, please keep that under your tinfoil hats) and you'll
be mesmerized by our servers, so much so we tend to keep the lights pretty low. Very
low. Don't worry, put your head back, close your eyes (turn on your CPap)... and dream
of England. Laser Slosh starts at midnight.
In celebration of this momentous occasion I think it's time to crack a keg of our
new limited edition 'Sloshingfroth ESB'. That joins 'Borf Stout Boogie', 'Stalking
Booze Pilsner' and 'Stiff Biff Nut Brown Ale' as the house libations, with more coming
all the time. And let me assure you, that is exhausting. On behalf of the
Frothingslosh Syndicate (still waiting to hear back from most of them but I figure
they are cool with it, I mean what choice do they have), have a drink on us. The first
one is free. (Well I'll end up paying for it all but I'm not resentful. Resentment is
for the weak!).

SPY REPORT
We are together once again, my darlings! I could not be happier to see you in our
wonderful arena. Thank you for coming back to Seam and our glorious games. We have a
lot to go over for this report. There were some ups and downs as there are with every
turn, but a few of them fit into the glorious and tragic column today. So, let's take
a look at what happened for Turn 162, shall we?
Bokeh's winning streak was on the line as he made his final appearance in Seam. I
want to thank him for the Duelmaster's column too. It is always a treat to hear from
our arena champions. Onto the fight, it looks as if Bokeh challenged Trailer Trash
Tom with ill-intent. I am sure to Bokeh's regret, he was not able to kill on his way
out the door, but he did win and keep his winning streak alive. Congrats on an
impressive career in Seam!
With Bokeh winning, we needed a new Duelmaster and our champion would be selected via
the highest recognition points. It seems like Yellow Snowman was banking on this
selection process and challenged Mr Read-a-Lot. Well, our out-going Duelmaster did
not get a kill, but our newest one did. Yellow Snowman is our newest champion after
killing Mr Read-a-Lot in a challenge match! YS is managed by Weirdo. Let's keep up
the momentum and have another Duelmaster's column!
Our most avoided team is Robo Village. They were mostly avoided by Huckle's Cats.
The most challenged warrior comes to us from Hero's Inc. Titan was down challenged a
few points by The Handyman. The Handyman's advantage in recognition and overall
fights did not help him when he lost to Titan in a 1-minute match.
I mentioned Mr Read-a-Lot's death above, but we take a few more moments to remember
him. His 18-44 record shows that he had survived for the longest time in our arena, a
veteran by every definition of the word. However, the Fates can be fickle and despite
a long career in Seam, he was not meant to make it to immortality or the Isle. Joining
him was the much less experienced Riva from Thirsty Thugs, who died in a match against
Proud Buoy.
I will close on a happier note. Congrats to Purge and Davina for attaining
immortality. It was a long road for Purge, but he has finally made it. Davina is
currently our top slasher. Both graduates will fight one more turn so the crowds and
other warriors can bid them farewell, so be sure to come back for the celebration in
