SPY REPORT
Welcome, welcome, welcome, my loves! As always, great to be back in the press box
here at my favorite arena! Thank you so much for joining us on this day. The weather
was . . . acceptable, and I will leave it at that. It has been a wonderful time in
Seam this day with glorious battles, the thrills of competition, and the agonies of
death and defeat! Now, let's take a look at how it all played out on the sands, and
discover who lives to fight another day.
It has been very exciting news surrounding the Duelmaster's throne the past few turns.
We have had challenges, death, revenge, and even a manager introduction thrown in for
good measure in a Duelmaster's address. It has been great! Now we come to this turn
and things MIGHT be back to normal. Maybe. Trailer Trash Tom challenged Beowulf for
the throne of New Seam. When the dust settled, Triple T was our new Duelmaster.
There was no death. There was no blood feud. It was just a straight challenge. It
was still pretty exciting and we congratulate Tom on his ascension to the throne and
on his invitation to the Isle of the Eye. Trailer Trash Tom is managed by The
Landlord.
Pharmanomicon was the most avoided team this turn. They were mostly avoided by Darque
Knights. Captain Obvious was this turn's most challenged warrior, but it appears he
had other plans, or at least his manager, Weirdo, had other plans. The good Captain
found himself fighting by torchlight against High Elf. I think it is obvious that
everyone was shocked when Captain Obvious killed High Elf and returned to the Weirding
Ways guild house. I bet it is an evening of steely glares and awkward silences
between manager and warrior.
Welcome back, Alfredo! The ladies are gone, and now we have Alfredovision (TM). The
3-2-1 is certainly a great way to make a re-entrance into the arena. Tough Mama might
not agree, but she isn't here to dispute it. Way of All Flesh displaces Metal Blade
as the top team. The closest team, Beer Bellies, is 3 wins back, so that should tell
you how well Manray's crew has been doing. Robo Village and Pixelbenders make their
way into the top 5 this cycle. Darque Knights are the only ones that remain the same
rank in 3rd place.
There were 9 deaths this turn. The interesting tidbit is that only one of those
deaths generated a future blood feud. There were 2 arena standbys killed. Sadly,
stand-ins do not seek revenge. How interesting would that be? Then, there were 6
deaths in the Dark Arena, including a Dark Arena "monster." The only fight that COULD
have consequences came when Yuto killed Diebuprofen. It is his name, but I'm not sure
his manager will accept that as an excuse. So, we watch and wait to see if
Pharmanomicon will seek vengeance!
Farewell, farewell, farewell, my darlings! There is not much else to report, and one
of the local hot spring spas is awaiting me. Do come back next turn and join us in a
spectacular exhibition of gladiatorial skill. It promises to be a wonderful time for
all. Sure, there might be a death or 3, but I am sure we are all just desynthetized

3-2-1 turn and Beowulf is duelmaster. Metal Blade, I usually have a one bloodfeud and
done policy, so my beef with your team over the death of Titan is over. Beowulf will
be challenging the top two and won't be avoiding anyone. Ajax is back to .500 in
dramatic fashion. Sorry about, Wolfgang Huckle's Cats. Ajax will be challenging Rudolf
to give you an opportunity to get that one back, but if he gets it I doubt you can
win. Hydra beat Captain Obvious easily, which was nice. Wolverine lost but trained two
whole skills which is a new thing. I'm going to send him against Captain Obvious for
another win if he gets through. If not then maybe he gets back to .500 anyway. Bugger
is going to the Dark Arena. I should have sent him straight away, but I wanted to see
if I could steal a couple of easy wins with a scum TP first. Glad to meet some folks
at the face this past week. I had to cut out early Sunday and missed the last few
turns. Turns out I was eliminated in turn 9 after going 6-1 with two of my rookies.
Typical run for me. Haven't been able to get anyone past 9 turns in a very long while.
On a bright note I got my first ever size 3 warrior and a crap load of fresh faces to
run in the next several tourneys. Yeah, I know we don't like to talk about those
things in here but I'm sure its not forbidden to talk about them, just can't
participate in them with the guys from this arena. Oh well, I can't think of anything
constructive so I'm going to stop now. -- Eli
