ROBO VILLAGE, whose 0-0-0 this turn dropped them by 4 into 10th. ALFREDOVISION(TM)
stable has parlayed this turn's 4-1-0 into a 4 space move up the rankings. This
brings them up to 6th place. Good work, guys! The DARQUE KNIGHTS guild has had a
3-1-0 turn and deserves to be watched in the future. You never know where this kind
of thing can lead. YA'LL QAEDA challenged for the Duelmastership this turn,
attempting to dethrone HERO'S INC's warrior. We should ask YA'LL QAEDA about the
thrill of victory, and what being the new Duelmaster does for a warrior, it's now the
one to ask. Tell me, is nothing sacred? I have heard from unimpeachable sources
that The Victory Tavern uses trolls in their stew. Talk about gristle!
I tell you, a green quarterstaff lasts longer than a seasoned sapling. A basher
friend of mine assures me this is true. I also notice that the ROBO VILLAGE stable
was the most avoided team this turn. Come on SEAM, what are you afraid of? And
guess who avoided ROBO VILLAGE stable the most? Believe it or not, it was WAY OF ALL
FLESH. Anyone surprised? The most challenged warrior this turn was LOST SENTINELS'
warrior GUMBO. More fighters challenged her than challenged the Duelmaster!
Building dreams on hope, MECHADEPLORABLE challenged up 29 points this turn to take on
HELSTAR from METAL BLADE stable. And now nobody knows where HELSTAR is right now,
after giving MECHADEPLORABLE 17 points worth of recognition. As quiet chuckles rise
behind me. In a brave attempt, MR. READ-A-LOT from HUCKLE'S CATS challenged up 18
points to fight HOLLOW from the LOST SENTINELS stable. MR. READ-A-LOT perhaps got
his just desserts, seeing as he was beat by HOLLOW and ended up with 22 recognition
points. VANILLA ISIS of WAY OF ALL FLESH had better have a good reason for
challenging down 9 points in a challenge which it killed. I thought VANILLA ISIS
showed great skill and promise when it dispatched BEOWULF. All right, so I slept
through it! Big deal!
A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once. Wise men know this to
be true. BEOWULF has departed SEAM, leaving HERO'S INC without their 22-14-1
warrior. Question, just what was his team doing at the taverns last night? I guess
it was coming sooner or later, METAL BLADE has lost IMPIOUS, and SEAM is bound to
miss him. For a little while, at least. A brave warrior does not carry a red
shield, he has nothing to cover or hide when the fight is over. Consider well.

4-1 with Ajax the Duelmaster. Beowulf challenged the Duelmaster and lost. I think I
should have run him more aggressive against the striker but instead I tried to finesse
him and paid the price. Beowulf did get his 3rd masters rating and if he had won
perhaps even gotten his ticket to the big show. Oh well. Ajax got his challenge in
against Vanilla Isis and won his match and claimed the throne on points. He won't
avoid anyone and I didn't feel like filling out all of the turn sheets so no
challenges this time around. Hydra won against Yellow Snowman. Nothing really to say
other than good job and congrats to Weirding Ways for getting their guy to adm.
Wolverine won against Cor Sevenblades each fighter managed to get an expert out of the
thing and Wolverine is once again .500 fighter. Panda got her first win in as many
fights against Krusty the Clown in a random match. All told a very satisfying turn.
Congrats to the Landlord for getting another one to ADM. Someday I'll get some of my
guys into the Home Guard from here.. -- Eli
Sidara Brightbell -- I will go ahead and say that my favorite warrior of all time is
my first Primus warrior, Sex Kitten. She was born decades ago at the KC face to Face
and I remember asking Doc Steele what he thought about her. His exact words where
"good luck keeping her out of Primus." She is a slasher and while her style isn't as
accomplished as the Aimed Blow and Lunging styles, she has managed to keep a winning
record and is by far my best over all fighter. Her stats are currently 18-9-7-25-25-7-
25 with Archmaster in Attack and Initiative, Grandmasters in Defense and Riposte, and
advanced masters in decisiveness and parry. Will I ever get her maxed out and retired?
I doubt it. My favorite non ADM warrior right now is my Wall of Steel Bender in dm 81.
He got lucky on his stats and started out 13-0-1 before losing his next 2. I am hoping
to get him into ADM soon. I got my first ever size 3 warrior in this last face and
they went 6-3 with me having to leave early on the last day because of work. I think I
will run them as a tourney fighter for a bit to see if I can ever get my first TV
since that KC face 30 odd years ago. There are lots of potential favorites that I have
that are up and coming. Rose in ADM is my best lunger, Ivan and Satin Sheets are my
two ADM Aimed Blows that I hope to make Contenders sooner or later. Favorite styles
that I have not had success with are Bashers and Parry Lungers. I had a Parry Lunger
that was on the cusp of graduating and got himself murdered while Duelmaster by a
warrior he had beaten the previous 2 or 3 fights they had had before. I have two
Bashers in ADM and they both stink. Not sure how Assur made them into favorites let
alone winners. -- Eli
3-2 turn with Ajax staying top dog and getting invited to the Isle. Figures. He will
be going to Home Guard with the rest of my new grads. Not bad numbers: 9-9-11-17-17-9-
12 Ambidextrous Fav Short Spear High-High Rip tactic and favorite learn defense. Will
get to fight in the mail in as a Challenger so I'll send him for the LOLs. Not sure
how many I'll be sending total, but I do know I have zero rookies and a ton of
initiates from last face. Beowulf won but still hasn't gotten an invite. With Ajax
leaving he is in good position to get the title if he wins and Ajax doesn't lose.
Ajax will be challenging the top two and Beowulf will be challenging the two above him
with overlapping challenges going to Ya'll Qaeda which would be fitting since he has
stolen top Wall of Steel honors with Hydra losing to Pappy Blue Ribs. Wolverine won to
get above .500 and got his 4th rating. Not terrible considering he has about a 1 skill
per fight average. Panda got challenged by a Clown and lost. Not worried about her
record just yet, but she is similar to Ajax so perhaps she will come around. Have a
