SPY REPORT
We have gathered for another turn in dear Seam, my sweets! Welcome back to the
gladiatorial games and all the excitement they bring to our fair city. I am Sidara
Brightbell, a spy reporter, a witch, and so many other things - some good and some
bad. I will be taking you through all the news that is worth reporting from today's
festivities. Sit back and enjoy your time with us because it will be time to depart
before you know it! So, let's get started!
The Duelmaster's title is always a great place to start! Well, there isn't much to
report. Frexx was our Duelmaster last turn, and he remains our Duelmaster this turn.
Metal Blade's Helstart made an attempt at the throne. It was a valiant effort that
lasted 3 minutes but to no avail. Frexx is still Duelmaster. I guess the exciting
news is that Frexx received an invite and now stands as Lord Protector. He will leave
us after fighting the next turn. Congrats to LP Frexx, who is managed by DMobster.
Let's see, yes, many people are always interested in avoids and avoiding. Those
concerns will drop significantly on turn 199 when avoids become illegal for those
taking part in the 199 Bottles contest. Until then, we can safely say that Constant
Sorrow is the most feared team in the arena. Pandemic Boredom avoided them the most,
but from looking over the numbers, they were not alone! Stimulus Check is the most
challenged warrior. SC is responsible for the death of Akakia's warrior William
Buckwell, so it is no surprise that Akakia's warrior, Albert, got a challenge through
to SC. Ironically, it was just a regular challenge and not a bloodfeud challenge. In
the end, it doesn't matter how the challenge got through. What does matter is that
Albert beat Stimulus Check in 2-minutes.
We had a few deaths this turn, but most came from the Dark Arena. The non-DA deaths
of note, of which there are only two, begin with Kylie Jenner Lip. KJL challenged The
Aces above them in the rankings by 10 recognition points. There was an 8-fight
disparity in the fight experience, but everyone forgot to tell that to The Aces! The
Aces killed KJL in a lopsided 1-minute fight. The other death came to a relative
newcomer, Aeternam, who challenged the evenly ranked Sam Lay. Aeternam would like to
have that challenge stricken from the record, but it is too late now! Sam Lay lay
Aeternam to rest in another short, 1-minute fight. I offer congratulations to the
winners and my condolences to the dead.
As mentioned earlier, Frexx will be gone after the next turn. Receiving their invite
as well, we have The Silent Owl quietly stepping out of our arena too. Frexx is our
Duelmaster and top-rated Lunger, while The Silent Owl is recognized as our top Wall of
Steel. Mr. Root left us today after fighting his final bout against Hop on the Bus
Gus. It was not a good day for Mr. Root, who lost rather quickly against bus-hopping
Gus.
Well, that is it for me today, my darlings. We are one turn closer to the start of
the 199 Bottles contest. The preliminary rounds come to a close next turn, and the
full contest begins. Luck to all, and thank you to Alfredo for hosting this contest
in our fair arena. Frexx is gone from us after the next turn, so we will need to crown
a new Duelmaster. There are many options in the upper ranks! So, who is going to be
