SPY REPORT
The golems are rather slow today. They got too much moisture over the weekend and some
gears have locked up. After looking it over, I was correct about the moisture.
However, it smells like ale, so I can only guess what the arena attendants were doing
in my absence. A little oil and all will be better! I hope everyone has had a happy
and fulfilling two weeks since we were last in Seam. Let's take a look at all that
has transpired on the sands today before this beautiful afternoon gets away from us.
Rose defended her title with gusto, so we did not get a Duelmaster in the traditional
sense. Since no one could topple Rose before she left for the Isle, we turn to
recognition points to elevate a skilled soul to the office of Duelmaster. The Aces
was the lucky gladiator this week to have the most recognition points. Truthfully, I
cannot call it luck! The Aces have been steadily climbing the ranks, and one does not
accumulate 130 recognition points by being lucky! There are certainly some skills
involved with our newest champion. Congrats to The Aces!
There will certainly be headaches, and possibly a lot of yelling, over at the Dark
Knights guild house tonight. They will need to search for three recruits in the
coming weeks. Two warriors were sent to the Dark Arena, but it was the surprise death
of their newest warrior that poured salt on an already tender wound. Condolences to
the team! Lost Sentinels bid farewell to Headcase after he was killed by Porch Sitter.
There are so many dead listed on my spy report! You gents have picked up the killing
as of late! Perhaps take a break for the next few turns, please?!?!
Lost Sentinels is once again our most avoided team. They were mostly avoided by Robo
Village. Gaining notoriety today for being the most challenged warrior, we have Bully
Bobcat from Huckle's Cats. I just noticed that Bully is the object of a bloodfeud
from Akakia. It does not read as a feud on my report but only as a regular challenge.
Either way, the result was the same when Bully Bobcat beat William Buckwell IV.
The arena continues to shrink, but it is to be expected after a contest. We hope they
will all return and enjoy our fine arena once again. We also hope that each of you
will stay and continue to make Seam a competitive place to play! There were no
graduations today, so we will have the same crew back next cycle. I'm confident we
will have some new faces in the Initiates class. I always look forward to meeting the
new guys and gals, especially before they potentially enter the arena and die!
Oh well, time for me to go, my sweets! Enjoy the rest of your day, and I will see
each of you back in two weeks. There will be a title defense, most likely a few
deaths, and hopefully, some personal ads when we next meet again. Until then, keep
your blades sharp, your hammers blunted, and your spears long.
