Notes from the arena champ.
Good to be here folks! Been a long road to get here. Joining the arena in the midst
of a contest was certainly an interesting experience. Hopefully we don't lose too
many more teams as its a fun and different experience competing in a reasonably full
arena.

SPY REPORT
Here we are again, my sweets! We come into this grand, Seam arena for the hustle and
bustle of the gladiator games. I can think of nothing, and I do mean nothing, that I
look forward to and anticipate more than these games each week. Yes, being part of
these games is truly an extraordinary experience. I hope you have enjoyed your arena
time today. Let's take a look at how all the action unfolded.
We start where we always start and look to the throne. Sam Lay claimed Seam's top
honor of Duelmaster the last turn. Sam had to defend his title today with no invite
to move him onward to the Isle of the Eye. He made a challenge from atop his lofty
throne and asked Dakie Wildrose for a dance. It was a brief fight, but Sam Lay once
again wears the crown of Seam. Congrats to Sam and his manager. Perhaps a speech is
in order!? Yes, the crowds love to hear from the Duelmaster!
The most avoided team today is Huckle's Cats. You would be hard-pressed to find
anyone from Rubber vs Glue in the vicinity when the cats showed up on the sands. I
would hate to have the job of tracking challenges and avoids. I'm relieved that we
have golems to take care of such tasks. Speaking of challenges, the most challenged
warrior is Biff from Akakia. As I have noted, lopsided records, especially those
heavy in the loss column, will get you lots of attention. It is not always positive.
Well, I'm guessing it is NEVER positive, but people are noticing you! What's
Streaming challenged up 8 points in the rankings to fight and defeat Biff. Better
luck next time, Biff!
Death must be on a vacation of late. The sands have run red at times, but it seems to
be currently experiencing a drought. Pandemic Boredom's warrior, Deep Funk, fought
his last battle in Seam. Deep challenged down to fight Faz Ebonsteel. To his
eventual surprise, Deep Funk found himself dead at the end of the match. Do It
Tomorrow, our top-ranked Total Parry got an invite from the Commission. He will fight
his last bout with us next turn and afterward make the journey to the Isle. We at the
Seam Yellow Press want to wish him well.
My darlings, it seems that our time is always too short. Come back and visit me once
again in two weeks. Sam lacks an invite from the Commission, so we get to experience
another title defense. The top teams are tied, so we will need to clear up that
bothersome point of ambiguity. I'm always on the lookout for bloodfeuds and

worked long into the night poring over the many responses and I'm now able to update
everyone. The first update is that there was only one response -- stunning but true.

Our summer Face-to-Face is in the midwest again this year, and we're going back to the
Twin Cities! We hope you will join us at our summer FTF in Bloomington, MN on July 12-
14, 2024! It will be held at the Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport (800-317-8143).
