SPY REPORT
I visited the seers this week, and they were cryptic as usual. Just once, I would like
to find a diviner that speaks plainly. What am I supposed to do with this?

Bah, I'll stick alteration and conjuration! Oh, I also really like this spy reporter
gig. Let me see if I can conjure up all the newsworthy happenings for our glorious
arena. Gladiators marched onto the sands for the 233rd time since the arena re-opened
as a no-tourney spot. I still love the pomp and circumstance on arena day as much now
as I did when we had the grand opening! Okay, I've rambled enough, let me get to the
news.
Emma Stone was an active Duelmaster and posted a challenge to Mozelle Alderson. I love
to see managers and warriors taking the initiative. Simple maneuvers can turn a
devastating loss into a glorious victory. Sadly, this was not the case for Emma. Maybe
she should have ducked instead of juked or parried low instead of high. Whatever the
reasons, Mozelle Alderson is our new Duelmaster, and she is to be celebrated for the
next two weeks. Congrats to Mozelle and all the members over at No Tournament Blues.
The golems tell me Unlikely Heroes were avoided more than any other team today. Who
avoided our heroes the most, you ask? The warriors over at Local Girls did not want to
face Unlikely Heroes on the sands. If challenges were gold crowns, Ora Alexander would
be very wealthy! She receives the distinction as our most challenged warrior. How does
it feel to know that your fellow managers and gladiators are on the hunt for you?
There was only a death in the Dark Arena. We did witness a bloodfeud from Bad Pickles
against Like Sunday. It did not end well for Bamien as Like Sunday won the fight in 2
minutes. I am glad the sad news is minimal, so let's look at some happy thoughts to
brighten our day. We have two new graduates from Seam. It appears Mozelle Alderson,
our new Duelmaster, and Feral Diva, a former Duelmaster, have caught the eyes of the
Commission. The announcement was made official at the close of today's games. Good
luck to both of you on the Isle of the Eye, training to be Alastari's defenses against
the forces of Chaos!
I could ramble on some more, but I need to go and try to make sense of the seer's
words. It is going to take me a while to decipher them. I might need to visit another
diviner to solve this mystery. Eh, I better steer clear of that lot for a while. One
visit to those nutjobs is enough to last the whole school year. Could you come back
next time and see who will wear the crown as the new Duelmaster? I am confident you

In the last week, I've had 2 birds hit windows here in my house and die. Both the
same breed, really bright yellow and black, really pretty. Anyway, I haven't picked
them up and disposed of them yet because I'm pretty sure that they have some disease
that caused them to do this. Sure, birds hit windows all the time but this is how end
times start in cheesy movies. Speaking of end times, I'm looking forward to seeing
Furiosa in the next few weeks and if I can't (i.e., due to the next pandemic), Dune 2
is coming to Max soon, as well as new Bridgerton on Netflix and The Big Door Prize on
Apple. There's a reason I have all the streaming services. We live in the best of
