SPY REPORT
Hello loves, it is another fine arena day. Seam is, well, Seam is bursting at the
seams with fans in the stands. Sadly, they only got a shortened show today. We only
had 19 fights and eight active teams for today's festivities. It is not ideal, but it
is SOMETHING. We can work with something. So let's take a look at all the "somethings"
that happened today.
Sally! Sally! Sally! The crowd was chanting your name before you even entered the
arena. Rightly so! You have been the champion for the last few turns and entered
today's arena looking for a third notch on your record. It was a random match-up, but
Sally faced the formidable Hoeb. No laughing! Fifty-three fights and two kills is
nothing to mock, especially in a no-tourney arena! Sally showed us why she has been
the Duelmaster for consecutive turns when she beat Hoeb in a one-sided duel. Congrats
to Sally Cat, Duelmaster of Seam! Sally also got an invitation from the Commission to
join the advanced games. It was a doubly celebratory day for Ms. Cat.
Huckle's Cats can stand tall and proud because they were the most avoided team. They
can talk up a mean game, but the warriors over at Rubber vs Glue did not want to face
any of Huckle Cat's warriors on the sands. Lola Doomfist is popular in all the wrong
ways. She is today's most challenged warrior. Papa Lenny of Bad Pickles challenged
down 12 points to face Lola. He soon regretted it. Lola Doomfist beats Papa Lenny in a
quick 1-minute bout.
I only have one death to report for today, and it occurred in the Dark Arena. Bad
Pickles sent Bamien in for the early fight. Wurm Kin did not waste any time. The fight
was over before the arena crew had set fire to all the torches. I hate the early,
before-sunrise fights, but it is nice to finish quickly so I can nap before the
regular games begin! Down challenges appear to be the new trend these past few turns.
I might talk more about them later, but it isn't a priority. Our priority is filling
our arena with more fighters! The fans enjoy the show, and I particularly like to see
them happy!
Time for me to go, my sweets. Check-in on your managerial friends and ask them why
they are not in Seam? Feel free to mock them mercilessly if they give you a lame
answer. Honestly, any answer other than, "I'm on my way!" or "I'm already there!" is
unacceptable and worthy of disdain! I'll see the rest you cool kids back here in two
weeks.
