Notes from the arena champ.
My manager thinks he is giving up on this game. He doesn't appear to have the best of
luck, paired with his less-than-stellar skill. Well, let's say it is not a good
combination. Despite him, I could still rise through the ranks and graduate.
I started 1-4 in the arena and was promptly sent to the Dark Arena. The orders took
two months to arrive. By then, I had shown a little promise, and the boss changed his
mind. Then, BAM! I'm fighting at night as the missing orders arrive. Darque was able
to seek reprieve from the Commission, so I was brought back to life by the healers. It
has been a journey! I made it, though, so I got one more fight and then a nice party
to send me off to the Isle.
15-5-9-15-17-10-13 N/G; +3 ATT; mode everywhere I can see. Another one of Darque's
frustrations is he was convinced I was a LO fave. I must say,; I did throw so many
crits with that weapon! The Commission says, NO! I apparently like the SC more. Darque
is fine with this revelation but still befuddled by the revelation. I also apparently
like the worst faves you can get for my style, which is MO/VL, and I enjoy learning
Parry skills.
I am going to go now and prep for my next fight. I need to talk Darque down from the
ledge, too. I made a challenge, but the fluctuating team count means I may or may not
face this person on the sands. Oh well, I will leave it up to the Fates like I do most
things in life.

Live from the dusty sands of Seam Arena, this is Sidara Brightbell, your resident
spell-slinging scribe bringing you the juiciest scoops of Turn 257! Pour yourself a
mug of mint tea, my dears, and settle in -- the drama's hotter than a salamander in
summer.
In a dazzling duel, Exyl Rott of Darque Knights showed the style, strength, and steel
to claim the Duelmaster's throne, laying down a decisive victory over Saffire of No
Tournament Blues. The shadows trembled, and so did the crowd, as this once-underdog
warrior emerged victorious. With a record now at 14-15-0, Exyl reminds us that
perseverance pays off -- sometimes with a title belt.
Oh my broomsticks, it's true again! Seam is shaking in its boots at the mention of No
Tournament Blues, and this week, it's Pandemic Boredom who turned tail and cast a firm
"not today, thank you." Perhaps they've been burned by one too many bluesy ballads in
the past? Well, if it isn't the fierce and fabulous Lexxee Lioneye, drawing
challengers like moths to flame! She handled her final bout in the arena like the
champion she is, utterly vanquishing Like Sunday in a dazzling display of power -- and
with that, my darlings, she has graduated. Off to the Isle she goes! We send her off
with all the warm wishes and enchanted apples she can carry.
Eight minutes. That's how long Kye Smallfoot and Swipe Left danced across the sands in
an epic struggle of wills, footwork, and flair! Though Swipe Left barely eked out the
win, it's Smallfoot who walked away with our hearts. What a spectacle!

Sorry for missing last turn, gang! With Sidara's poetic talk of a shrinking arena, it
was pretty clear that we were missed -- very understandable but nothing to worry over,
we're back.
The only news in my life is that I sold the much loved '07 Honda Fit -- a pack rat had
moved in and was having its way with it. As much as I found that entertaining, my
wife and 17 children found it repellent. My wife found a cheap '05 Mini Cooper
convertible and I couldn't say no but then my dermatologist found some skin cancer on
my jaw and my arm the following week so now I look like Frankenstein (or
Frankenstein's Monster for the pedantic among you) as I cruise around with my rag-top
down so my hair can blow...if I had any hair left to blow, I guess. Truly the Modern
Prometheus!
