Notes from the arena champ.
Another day, another mauler. In any case, Narcoleptic Guard accepted my challenge to
a no weapons and no armor pugilist bout, so I'm going to send him a swinging telegram
that will prove once and for all he is more peanut brittle than bone. Speaking of
malleable substances, what's up with the challenges, Drunken Flailer? Although most
agree you are a pitiful warrior, at least now you will be seen as the sensitive type.
I say this because Maulmentum pummeled you so bad you ended up wearing your heart on
your sleeve, not to mention your lungs on your neck. What's the matter, cat got your
tongue? Sorry, that was a little cruel, given that Maulmentum also ripped out and
tossed your tongue to the stray felines that prowl the arena. Try challenging one of
my teammates again and I will be hitting on you harder than my first prom date, which
tragically involved a war hammer as well--but that's a funny story for another time.

SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly THE STOMPING GROUNDS games. Former top team BEAT IT!
was unseated this week as NUMBSKULLS moved up from 7th ranking to take the top spot
with a 3-2-0 record for the round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around
the corner! Witness how this week NUMBSKULLS went 3-2-0 to move up 6 in the
rankings. Did only my eyes note the 4-1-0 record which BASH MASTERS managed to post
this round? I don't doubt that such a record will draw challengers! BASH WIPE
caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as it skillfully bested MASTER
BASHER and was awarded 17 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable
duels, MAULMENTUM put down SON OF A BASHER, causing him to lose 12 points of
recognition in the process. Although FEISTY RUFFIAN made a valiant effort, it did
not suffice to topple the reign of victorious MAULARIA. Heed this! A seer has
warned that if exactly 6 die in duels this week, the whole city shall perish! Just
remember...5 or 7!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In THE STOMPING GROUNDS "art" is a
word that has long since passed from the language! I saw one fighter that warriors
avoided when this week's challenge seeking began. DUNGEON CELL BA is feared. This
much I can say. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent
the better part of last week avoiding DUNGEON CELL BA. Indeed it was MAUL RATS.
Mighty fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. SON OF A BASHER take
warning! You have more than a few enemies in THE STOMPING GROUNDS.
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! My hearty congratulations WESLEY CRUSHER, for thy
revenge upon HUGO SQUISH, slayer of thy fallen comrade. Next time he will know
