SPY REPORT

Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly SUNSET games. Warriors--remember that glory waits
always around the corner! Witness how this week THE WHOVIANS went 3-2-0 to move up 5
in the rankings. EENO caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as he
skillfully bested WANDERLUST and was awarded 20 points in recognition. In one of the
week's more notable duels, DARK VISIT put down AQUILEIA, causing him to lose 17
points of recognition in the process. Not for nothing has BUCK FIDEN in the past
laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this week he's proven his combat skill yet
again. Heed this! A seer has warned that if exactly 6 die in duels this week, the
whole city shall perish! Just remember...5 or 7!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In SUNSET "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! My inside sources tell me that the team to beat
in SUNSET these days is GRIM FANDANGO. At least, most blades in town are looking to
avoid them. Apparently the stalwarts of THE WHOVIANS are catching the bulk of jests
down at the challenging board for their large share of the avoids. Loose talk at the
arena has reached my ears and it but confirms the knowledge that many fighters are
after UNCHAINABLE. Watch your back! Give DAVROS credit for his courage. Did you
note how he challenged OGRYN despite the 26 point difference in their rankings? I
must admit to some joy. Before my very eyes the underdog in this contest, DAVROS,
defeated OGRYN to claim victory and recognition.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? This week marked the last days of TENEBRAS LUX who at 5-8-1 was
dispatched to the Dark Arena by the command of GRIM FANDANGO's demanding management.
Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears arms. One thing is sure, better a
dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
A thought before I go. Each warrior practices one style, but must not the wise
manager learn the secrets of them all? Sadly warriors, now longer can I keep thy
company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till we meet

Since we missed ads for a couple of turns . . . For those interested:
Sterling Savant: 17-6-11-17(+1)-17-10-7 Slasher. Completely mode except for
tremendous damage. Elee was a bit of a surprise. He will now join former Tribe
slashers Nerve Raker, Lupus Major and Steel Storm in retirement upon the Isle.

Brier Blackmoon. 7(+1) -14(+1)-9-17(+1)-21(+1)-10-11(+1) Plunger. Quite the burner.
He had two masters, two advanced experts and an expert when he graduated. +8 in total
known skill bonuses, but while he did do normal damage, the inability to wield more
than a shortsword without penalty was a real disadvantage that cost him quite a few
fights. I probably should have tried the scimitar despite the penalty, especially now
knowing that it was his favorite. A plunger like this is fun, if frustrating. He now
joins Gitchigoomie, Torino and Baron Wildwood as Plungers at the Isle from the Tribe.

And the less happy posting of the numbers, for a fallen Tribesman. Bushwhack 12-12-
14-17-9-9-11. Pretty bland, but I have a softspot for Pikers. A small bonus in
attack, and experts in init, parry and decise. Nothing great, but when you put 26
fights into a warrior, it stinks to see them go.

Ogryn -- You are the one who destroyed Bushwhack's dreams. Look at that glorious
rollup that you destroyed? Well, the Beast has given you a reminder that such is an
undesirable thing to do. He has been avenged. Enough. -- The Tribe
