Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings for the last time! As suspected, my speedy vanquishing of I See
Sounds provoked the powers that be to not only send me off to AD but my vaunted
challenger as well. Be careful of my wake! It seems such a short time--only 21
fights, 3 as Duelmaster. It seems somehow unfair. Damion remembers the early days
of Sunset where the Duelmaster could rule interminably with a flock of challengers
looking for the perfect strategy to unseat him. Ahh, fond memories.
But I must go, and in so doing I will try to take out C. Canary. He's the #1
challenger and also stands in the way of Ronnie taking the throne (something Drane
would find hard to swallow). I think he got the jump on me last time we fought so it
will be very interesting to see if my learns will make a difference.
I have much difficulty when others get the jump since I don't believe in
dodging. And I'll have to try out this %$#%&$#% Epee thing as well. Figures I'd get
the French weapon! Might as well give me an ahn-woon. Oh well, or should I now say
"Ce la vive". How embarrassing.

SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of SUNSET! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. ASHANDAR caught the eye of many in the
gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested DJININSKI and was awarded 19 points
in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, ASHANDAR put down
DJININSKI, causing him to lose 18 points of recognition in the process. Unwilling to
wait upon the will of others, Duelmaster MINOS TV challenged C. CANARY last week in a
match to decide the fate of the throne. Although C. CANARY made a valiant effort, it
did not suffice to topple the reign of victorious MINOS. No confirmation, but my
sources claim that the top team has gained their position using magical aids.
Charmed weapons perhaps?
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. I saw one fighter that warriors
avoided when this week's challenge seeking began. GRIM FANDANGO is feared. This
much I can say. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent
the better part of last week avoiding GRIM FANDANGO. Indeed it was SONS OF SATAN.
Mighty fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. RONALD REAGAN take
warning! You have more than a few enemies in SUNSET. RONALD REAGAN must really be
harboring a grudge against the GRIM FANDANGO guild! Merciless, 18 challenged down
DRANE points this week to duel with he. The Fates are not kind to the cowardly, as
evidenced by the fact that RONALD REAGAN was defeated by DRANE. And who can now
doubt that DRANE is a hardy opponent? A match that raised a few eyebrows at the
games this week, it seems that INCISION posted a challenge against the more highly
recognized LUGO BELOSKI. The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand INCISION was
subdued by LUGO BELOSKI. Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel. I can
not but mention with disdain the name of THE HIPPY who this week posted a challenge
to a warrior a full 11 points below in the rankings. I thought THE HIPPY showed
great skill and promise when it won victory over SKYDANCER. All right, so I slept
through it! Big deal!
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Dark alleys may hide both secrets and assassins. In the arena
there is only the brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
A thought before I go. Each warrior practices one style, but must not the wise
manager learn the secrets of them all? Sadly warriors, now longer can I keep thy
company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till next we

Massacre Kill Contest will begin. The rules are simple; the team with the most kills
