Notes from the arena champ.
Hello, Sunset!
Doc was not pleased this turn as I gambled on induction only to learn 2 useless parry
skills!?! Get this Hoodlum guy away from me; he is so slow my mind wanders to weird
things like learning how to parry! This turn I doubled challenged the Drunken Moose
since he will be the only active Challenger that I know about. Evolution Theory was
kind enough to drop me a note to warn me he was going inactive for tourney timing
purposes. I just noticed his record is better then mine, so maybe that is a good
thing for me.

SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of SUNSET! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. There were bitter words at BLACKEST
PRIDE's guildhouse after a 0-0-0 showing this week which dropped the stable into
13th. Dark Arena anyone? Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the
corner! Witness how this week CLIENTS went 0-0-0 to move up 4 in the rankings. My
praise to GRIM FANDANGO for their 3-0-0 week this time out. Indeed, it was a
skillfully fought round deserving of notice! ARTURIUS caught the eye of many in the
gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested DJININSKI and was awarded 27 points
in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, CROUCHING HAMSTER put down
BREAKSPERE, causing him to lose 6 points of recognition in the process. Not for
nothing has ASHANDAR in the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this week
he's proven his combat skill yet again. Heed this! A seer has warned that if
exactly 6 die in duels this week, the whole city shall perish! Just remember...5 or
7!
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. SUNSET, city of gladiators!
Mighty among the names of thy guilds is GRIM FANDANGO, a guild shunned and avoided by
many in the weekly duels. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was
that spent the better part of last week avoiding GRIM FANDANGO. Indeed it was MAGIC
CITY MAFIA. Loose talk at the arena has reached my ears and it but confirms the
knowledge that many fighters are after BREAKSPERE. Watch your back!
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. COUCH SLOUCH must hold silent, for this
week she was humbled in the arena by a successful Bloodfeud won by PELHAM of MAGIC
CITY MAFIA. Hail PELHAM for thy victory! Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers
the miserable with fortune but sets enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in SUNSET. Nice atmosphere you have here! Sadly warriors, now longer can I
keep thy company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till
