You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to SUNSET once again! Ya gotta be quick on yer feet! Keep your
elbow off the table! Thrust! Block out the pain! LAKOTA is now ranked 3rd with a
3-1-0 turn. GRIM FANDANGO showed SUNSET what they were made of as they fought with a
vengeance to walk off with 4-1-1. What's with SUCCORBENOTH? He actually beat
SUNSET's EMBEZZLING SCRIBE, and walked away with 15 more points from the fight.
Major screwup at KANO CLAN. MOMORO WA lost 15 points to AZRAEL. Some new
strategies, perhaps? Maybe MOMORO WA will provide more easy wins... I can barely
restrain my enthusiam for GRIM FANDANGO's outstanding member, Duelmaster SCYTHE.
Advice to fighters with a 1 will--give up fighting!
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. SUNSET thinks D.R.I. and
their 35-15-5 is too much! If at first you don't succeed, give up... In my day, no
team with a 31-14-5 would scare me off! What's the problem, KANO CLAN? How well I
know the feeling of being the most challenged warrior, MOMORO WA! Don't make idle
boasts, they may come back to haunt you. COUCH SLOUCH didn't quite know what to make
of a challenge she received from LILLIAN LUST of SONS OF SATAN, who is 24 points
below her. LILLIAN LUST perhaps got hers just desserts, seeing as she was subdued by
COUCH SLOUCH and ended up with 73 recognition points.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? And this week the Duelmaster--whoops! SWORD OPERA has one
week left to avenge DIVA NASHONA's death by excessive hits on the part of CROUCHING
HAMSTER of D.R.I.. HART CRANE was plum wore out after TUSK pounded 'im silly in a
Bloodfeud. LITERATE LOONS'll have to get a little better before going after TUSK
again! Many a warrior has met his fate in a hungover stupor. You young
rapscallions, take note!
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here? Are
you as tired of reading this as I am of writing it? Actually, I guess I'm writing it

The Olympics have arrived!
The Mordanti Olympics, having been gone for six years, have returned to the Mordanti
Alliance, sponsored by Amicitia Primoris. Teams have competed against each other for
recognition and notoriety four times in the past. It is far past time for the fifth
Mordanti Olympics to be held. The Mordanti Olympics shall be held in the Mordant
arena (DM-1) from May 1st (T544) through Oct 30 (T557). There will be a
'registration period' lasting until T543, where teams will be allowed to register by
activating in Mordant and declaring their participation in the personals. Rules will
be posted in the Mordant arena (DM-1) newsletter no later than T543, but shall be
available online before then. An announcement will be made as to where they will be
posted. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
