by 4 into 6th. Ha! RAGING LORDS turned their 4-1-0 turn into a 4th place rank in
the listings this turn. Any better than this, and you get put on hit lists. Now
let's all watch LITERATE LOONS' heads swell from their 3-1-0 this turn. Haa ha ha
ha! Big shots, big talk, big deal. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see
MOLOTOV win a fight and gain 23 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, ANOTHER BAD BASHER beat
KING TOOTNPOOTN and KING TOOTNPOOTN lost 16 points. You're breakin' my heart. Due
to absence, and inability to defend the throne, PILSON has lost the Title of
Duelmaster. Start setting that alarm earlier! And it's out with the old, in with
the new, as CROUCHING HAMSTER takes the Title and last week's bar tab from the old
Duelmaster. Heh, heh. I'm not in a very good mood today, but why am I telling you
this? You want to know what's new, don't you, SUNSET?
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward. NOMADIC
TRIBE, I suppose you'll be glad to know you were this turn's most avoided team. Care
to know who is the most afraid of you? And it looks like GRIM FANDANGO avoided them
the most this turn. What a pack of would be losers, if you ask me. Hmph. MIME
CONTROL was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was the DM
insulted or feared? Heh, heh. Now look at this. LORD BLISS challenged down 16
against BEN'S BAZAAR's LABYRINTH NYMPH. What a weasel! And sorry to say, LORD BLISS
bested LABYRINTH NYMPH, leaving a bad feeling with the crowd. I think exploitive
snob is the term I'm looking for. MIME CONTROL was challenged by one of RAGING
LORDS' warriors this turn, with TROWSUL THUNDER having a lead of 19 points going into
the fight. Question now is, will SUNSET accept this sort of tacky behavior? TROWSUL
THUNDER beating MIME CONTROL. The insult, the....yech!
Death and Taxes. The less death I see, the more it taxes my patience. Let's
see if anyone's dead or dying. Bye bye, warrior, bye bye... BARON TONE, a glorious
19-29-0 fighter, has passed away. Gee, too bad SWORD OPERA. It's about time
ZEROPOINTZERO got beat for picking on warriors like SLYTHR. Bravo, GRIM FANDANGO.

All -- Slythr was 9(+2)-9-14-15(+2)-17-13-11 SL, 24/13/21/5/17/18, appeared mode with
great damage being his only bonus. I remember being extremely surprised and pleased
to see a 7 ST/14 SZ warrior get that! Favored the SH, HI/VL, learned defense. Tried
SH with him a couple times but didn't it didn't jump out at me, so we stuck with the
trusty SC. Looking at his skill levels, you can see he learned like crap, amassing
his .666 win percentage without even a single master rating, pretty sad. Off he goes
to retirement. For his last fight I bloodfeuded NCA5, if it goes thru perhaps a
point will be made and he leaves with 3 kills... -- Stik

SUMMER FACE-TO-FACE IN CLEVELAND!
Our summer FTF will be an eastern one this time, located in Cleveland, Ohio on July
17-19, 2009. It will be held at the Holiday Inn in Strongsville, OH, at 15471
Royalton Rd (440-238-8800). Rooms are only $95.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy.
There is a free shuttle from the airport, free parking, and free high-speed wireless
internet in all guestrooms ($3/day in public space). The hotel has an indoor pool,
pool table, and hockey, and a fitness center. The hotel is located 1/2 mile from the
largest mall in Northeast Ohio, with indoor minigolf and pottery painting, and right
next door to Iceland Arena, which offers open skate and skate rental. They also have
four bikes on property available for checkout, as the Metro parks are next door as
well. The rooms are blocked--ask for the "Reality Simulations" room block. There are
many restaurants and nightspots nearby and at the Mall, as well as a cafe in the
hotel.
