SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of SUNSET! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team RAGING LORDS was unseated
this week as GRIM FANDANGO moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot with a
4-1-1 record for the round. There were bitter words at NOMADIC TRIBE's guildhouse
after a 1-4-0 showing this week which dropped the stable into 15th. Dark Arena
anyone? Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner! Witness how
this week UNCLEAN SPIRITS went 3-2-0 to move up 5 in the rankings. Did only my eyes
note the 4-1-1 record which GRIM FANDANGO managed to post this round? I don't doubt
that such a record will draw challengers! MILLHAUSER caught the eye of many in the
gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested BLACK LOTUS and was awarded 22 points
in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, MILLHAUSER put down BLACK
LOTUS, causing her to lose 21 points of recognition in the process. Who here was not
present for the title fight this week as ULLRICH BLADESONG boldly challenged
CROUCHING HAMSTER in order to strive for the Duelmasters honors? The city has turned
out in honor of ULLRICH BLADESONG, for with his arena victory he may now lay claim to
the highest position in the city! Heed this! A seer has warned that if exactly 6
die in duels this week, the whole city shall perish! Just remember...5 or 7!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In SUNSET "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! My inside sources tell me that the team to beat
in SUNSET these days is GRIM FANDANGO. At least, most blades in town are looking to
avoid them. If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find
any of NOMADIC TRIBE last week. Busy avoiding GRIM FANDANGO? Loose talk at the
arena has reached my ears and it but confirms the knowledge that many fighters are
after TROWSUL THUNDER. Watch your back!
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? My sources at REAL HEAVY METAL stable claim they've never seen the
guild bitterer. This as a result of the untimely demise of IRON MAYHEM. Beware
WILLIAM HELL! SCIPIO SUNSETUS must hold silent, for this week he was humbled in the
arena by a successful Bloodfeud won by MERRY LEONA of SWORD OPERA. Hail MERRY LEONA
for thy victory! Walk proud, warriors of GRIM FANDANGO! By striking down LABYRINTH
NYMPH you have avenged the honor of your dead. Your virtue is known to all in
SUNSET. Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears arms. One thing is sure,
better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in SUNSET. Nice atmosphere you have here! Ahh, but I can hear the spires of
