Notes from the arena champ.
Assuming I'm victorious once again, I plan on taking two cycles off to meditate and
prepare myself for the upcoming Grand Tournament. Perhaps I'll even get in a little
fly fishing with my brother-at-arms.
King Tootnpootn, it was a valiant effort but it was not your time. From the sound of
your name, you'd be more comfortable on a porcelain throne, anyway.
Fathom Jumper
SPY REPORT
You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to SUNSET once again! Hmmmph! I always thought BEN'S BAZAAR was
an over-rated team and they proved it with a 2-3-0! Ya gotta be quick on yer feet!
Keep your elbow off the table! Thrust! Block out the pain! SWORD OPERA is now
ranked 3rd with a 4-1-0 turn. LITERATE LOONS showed SUNSET what they were made of as
they fought with a vengeance to walk off with 4-1-0. What's with WEASEL? He
actually beat LITERATE LOONS' MILLHAUSER, and walked away with 20 more points from
the fight. Major screwup at THE RED BLADES. LENI POOLE lost 8 points to ZOLDIVAR.
Some new strategies, perhaps? Maybe LENI POOLE will provide more easy wins...
GRANDADDY SMURF was reminded on the sands why FATHOM JUMPER is Duelmaster. Wouldn't
it be nice to have live subjects to practice on? I hear some team is looking into
the uses of convicted prisoners.
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. The most avoided team was
GREDAN. Management must be dealin', as the boys at OMINOUS REIGN ain't reelin'!
GREDAN's mad! How well I know the feeling of being the most challenged warrior,
WALLACE! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt you. BLAKSUNN expects
the easy win by going 19 points down. SILVER SMURFER will find this a hard lesson!
Just who can BLAKSUNN beat? I mean, the last matchup with lesser-ranked SILVER
SMURFER shoulda been a piece of cake! I hate going to the effort of writing about
the kind of fights that WALLACE gets in. He fights people like FAMINE, 12 points
below. I thought WALLACE showed great skill and promise when he defeated FAMINE.
All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Warriors of SUNSET unite. You have only your games to lose! Many a warrior has
met his fate in a hungover stupor. You young rapscallions, take note!
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here? The
end of another Spyreport! That's cause for celebration in my book! Time for my
