Ahh another round for the Wildman. Well, I did it, I'm still alive, and now
I've proven I will not die, hahah. Elf thinks he's so smart. Not sure why he had a
grin on his face when I left, but it doesn't matter, I'm #1, baby!! Well, dang, I
guess I'm off. I wish the new

Welcome SUNSET. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the fights have
I fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... Bein' on top is great while
it lasts, BEN'S BAZAAR. But how many friends do you have now? You know what they
say about the herd of lions who studied a judge... RAGING LORDS moved up 11 places,
to 1st. Hmmmph! I always thought OMINOUS REIGN was an over-rated team and they
proved it with a 2-3-0! THE BLUES showed SUNSET what they were made of as they
fought with a vengeance to walk off with 4-1-0. What's with SPARTACUS? He actually
beat GOLGOTHA'S BLOOMS' GREY FATAL, and walked away with 26 more points from the
fight. Major screwup at GOLGOTHA'S BLOOMS. GREY FATAL lost 24 points to SPARTACUS.
Some new strategies, perhaps? Maybe GREY FATAL will provide more easy wins... See
how the Duelmaster Dark Arena Challenged DARK ARENA's STONE GOLEM? That sort of
initiative is how he got where he is now. The crowds were amazed this turn, as STONE
GOLEM killed the Duelmaster, WILD, leaving OMINOUS REIGN in mourning. So now TIME
gets to be SUNSET's Duelmaster. But what comes around goes around. I suppose you
want to hear some rumors and dirty gossip about your fellow fighters? Tough!
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. The most avoided team was
KANO CLAN. The bums at NOMADIC TRIBE couldn't face the challenges from KANO CLAN!
No excuse for that! How well I know the feeling of being the most challenged
warrior, TRELAINE! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt you.
BLAKSKUL of GRIM FANDANGO knows how to pick 'em. He challenged TIME of OMINOUS REIGN
who is up by 24. Now was this a wise move? BLAKSKUL perhaps got his just desserts,
seeing as he was overcame by TIME and ended up with 81 recognition points.
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting
younger every day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Well, I'm pretty much through. You guys need to get back practicing. All work
and no play makes Olaf a dull fighter. Work and play no fighter dull Olaf.

As much as I hate Strikers, sometimes there's just no other way to go. But I suspect
there's a little more to it in order to explain 14 Strikers running last turn. And
as expected, they came out on the losing end, 6-8, and even odds in the two prior
turns. Perhaps an attempt to 'try one's luck' is at play here despite the extensive
weaknesses of Strikers. Kudos for the effort, fellas! Maybe one of those Strikers
will turn out to be a special case, but I doubt it.
Nope. I have no justifiable reason to back off from that Nomad freak until he backs
down and admits he's just a novice nobody. Oh yeah, he can quote his overly-inflated
record with which he's so infatuated all day long and I can make the case it's due to
blind luck. I think it's important to understand the sheer level of abject contempt
I have for him. I despise his arrogance and self-righteous infatuation. He ranks no
higher than the crunch of a bug under my boot, and everyone with any connection to
Sunset should beware of his smooth tongue. Don't allow yourself to be influenced by
his slick demeanor. He's just an insignificant punk.

Kano -- That was certainly a lot of ranting. Do I understand that armor protects
against damage? Certainly. I also know that strength can increase damage and wit
can increase learns, and yet I do not always add points to those categories. I know
the scimitar is believed to be the "best weapon," and yet there are times I do not
use it. Likewise, even though it protects against damage, there are times I choose
not to have my warriors wear armor. Do some die because of this choice? Probably.
Do others win fights they might have lost if they had been wearing armor? Probably.
And winning fights is the easiest way to avoid dying. But perhaps you don't have
enough experience with that?
I find your choice of taunts amusing. I suggest that your words are childish,
and you respond with "pie-hole" comments? Impressive. As for facts, it seems what
you offer is more of an opinion on subjects such as armor and wit. If you want facts
look for something empirical. I would suggest, perhaps, numbers. Numbers can be
