Notes from the arena champ.
George here. George like Sunset. Lots of nice people. Sorry if George hurt
some of you in arena. George don't mean to; sometimes George don't know his own
strength.
Wanted to tell you George won't be here next turn. George hear something about
29 effee... and need be careful don't go to ADM before Champion tournament. George
don't know about what all this mean; me just fight. But George happy; George with
play with his faithful Shep while no fighting in arena. Here boy! Fetch!!
BAMN! KABOOOOOMB!!
George sorry about that. Sometimes Shep don't know own strength.
George fight in Adepts tournament. George do good, except for last guy left
other than George. Other guy strange. George scared. Everybody scared. He...
glowed. People say he magically enhanced. People call him freak. He looks like
short old man with skin stretched over face. He not even use weapon. He just laugh
at you. Very very scary. George hope he never see him again. George have
nightmares for weeks.
George's manager say ADM not for George. Chuck say George would just lose in
ADM. ADM judges already been looking at George. George know he have to go soon.
George okay with that. George go swing in trees again. George not only play with
Shep. George play with Ursula, too.
It really okay being George.
SPY REPORT
The sages err'd not in their foretelling of a god descending upon SUNSET, for I,
Novgorodny Vir, have returned! The boys at TOON INN left the arena dejected, after
being kicked out of the top spot by CAJUN APOCALYPSE. Good show! He who laughs last
didn't get the joke. Speaking of laughing at jokes, observe BREAKERS. Last week
they got 0-5-0 to drop by 7! Nothing works for a team like victory (How's that for a
perceptive observation?) as BEN'S BAZAAR can attest... Good things come to those who
fight well, as THE JOKER'S WILD can attest, moving up by 4. Can you believe it?
GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE apparently has better things to do as SUNSET's Duelmaster than
show up and fight! In SUNSET, nothing is permanent (except Death), and we find
ourselves a new Duelmaster, EVNMOR BLAK. So who was the warrior seen charging into
immovable walls and challenging dead trees? Someone's got a basic problem...
My mother wished me to avoid conflict, and seek the gentle trade of Spyreporter.
But warriors aren't supposed to avoid fights! Perhaps the warriors of TOON INN
should take up some hobbies, as they are the most avoided team... The warriors of
TOON INN found their efforts at combat frustrated as TOOL SHED apparently had more
important things to do than fight. Everyone is famous for fifteen minutes, and HARDY
is it right now. Most challenged warrior. Isn't CAJUN APOCALYPSE proud! FLAP JACK
challenged BEASTLY SMURF! Who says ALL JACKED UP II are just a bunch of wimps! FLAP
JACK of ALL JACKED UP II kept its wits as it bested BEASTLY SMURF.
The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on... TEXAS FLOOD of THE
BLUES spared LORIO (6-6-1) from having to lose any more fights. What's your next
plan, RANDOM CHAOS? Ask not for whom the sword slashes; it slashes for thee.
Leave me now, you base fools! As if buffeted by forces of nature beyond my
control, I must take my leave of this place. Can anything compare to the pleasure of

Cajun -- *sigh* Some things don't change even after 20 years. If you wish to
receive no so called "downchallenges," then go to an Andorian arena. I hear they
don't do that there...at least for the most part. If it exists at all I would not
know, because I don't fight in any Andorian arenas (for that very reason). Your
warrior I challenged had much more experience than George, so you really don't have
anything to complain about anyway. In general, I challenge to maximize skill learns
in addition to winning; 8-0 challenging 20-15 usually works well for that. -- Chuck
