                                 DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
                             Notes from the arena champ.

No, no, no! The star goes on top of the tree, Tammy! Jeesh...good help is hard
to find. Happy holidays, all. Your beloved Duelmaster Snake Charmer here once
again. Blind Illussion came ready for the challenge, but it was to no avail. Just a
few greatsword hits up side the head put his notions of an upset to rest. Seeing as
we are closing in on the holidays, I thought I'd share with you all my little list of
holiday wishes for many of you. Let's see who's been naughty, and who's been nice,
shall we?

For Bookie -- A brand new hippie shirt. I am sure he would love it. Oh, and a new
pair of cut off jean shorts.

For Master Tazo -- A storage chest to put up some of The Toad's armor so that he can
win a scumfest sometime soon. Oh, not to mention a Duelmaster for you. It has been
almost a year now, and still looking for your first. Hopefully as soon as I
graduate, you can get one.

For Mr. Freeze -- Dang, man! Get a little warmth in your life. A nice big cuddly
green and gold blanket full of warm memories.

For Conspiracy Inc. -- Great faves on both of those WS's you have running around.
You sure have been nursing them through the arena. Hopefully they get just what you
wanted out of them.

For Judge -- The best gift you could ever want. One free downchallenge of Kellumbo's
Kids without a single word from us. Most managers talk the talk on downchallenging,
but you really walk the walk. You say you won't do it, and you never have here.
Well, for this season, we think you deserve a free pass on one shot of your choice.
Enjoy, because after that one, if it happens again we'll never let you forget about
it. Happy holidays, big guy. Having you in the arena has made it all the better.

For Al Gore -- Enough wins to get that team back above 50%. I know it must be
killing you. Let's hope the spirit of the season sends you not one, but two back to
back 5-0 turns to start the year off right.

For Medieval Chaos -- All the joy and happiness that playing in the best arena in the
lands can bring. We at Kellumbo's Kids hope you stick around for a long time.

For Legio Italica -- How about an endurance potion for those lungers of yours. Yeah,
I bet they would love that!

For Tree People 2 -- Dang, son, if anyone needs a 5-0 turn it's you. Hope it comes
your way.

And lastly, for Leeta -- Peace of mind and happiness. Hope you find your way back to
the arena soon. We miss you.

Happy holidays, all. Fellow managers of Solven, you are the greatest. -- Snake
Charmer

                                      SPY REPORT

Ready for some action-packed adventure, some thrills, chills and spills? Well
fergit it, cause this is the Spyreport for SOLVEN. The guys at CONSPIRACY INC. like
really pulled together to get a 5-0-1 this turn, moving up by 4. MVP award for
DARRELL ISSA? CONSPIRACY INC.'s proud of him after beating THE TOAD and getting 17
points. Talk about yer big time losers! THE TOAD got smashed by DARRELL ISSA, and
lost 16 points! The Duelmaster isn't going to stop just cause he's Number One!
BLIND ILLUSION knows this. He was Bloodfeuded by the Duelmaster. Was that a tear I
saw in BLIND ILLUSION's eye, as he took over Duelmastership? And wasn't SNAKE
CHARMER fit to be tied! I hear the top team insists all their warriors get nine
hours sleep. They want photogenic fighters for PR photos.
So just why would someone becomes a warrior anyway? It can't be for these
really neat Spyreports can it? CONSPIRACY INC. was the most avoided team. Is a
168-135-12 record really that scary? I don't know what THE DEMOCRATS' been doing.
They certainly haven't been accepting many fights from CONSPIRACY INC., that's fer
sher. Like, is BLIND ILLUSION popular, or what? He was challenged the most in all
of SOLVEN! He's got a 14-7-1, is that good? LUCIAS CLAY is being unfair. He's
challenged down 20 against TAX DEDUCTION. I don't know why they let this stuff go
on. (I'd better shut up) LUCIAS CLAY beat TAX DEDUCTION. No surprise about that.
Really I'm not surprised LUCIAS CLAY would do such a scummy thing, either.
SCHWARZENEGGER must not be a good enough fighter to get in fair fights. He
challenged CEPACOL. 11 is a big difference. (Well, that's what they tell me.) I
thought SCHWARZENEGGER showed great skill and promise when he defeated CEPACOL. All
right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All SOLVEN ever talks about is fighting! Me,
I'm more laid back. How cruel! THE DEMOCRATS heartlessly sent hers to CAROL M.
BRAUN certain fate in the Dark Arena. Is a 8-18-0 bad or something? Pinch me, I
must be dreaming!!! JOHN O'NEILL returns from the Dark Arena, maybe a "little upset"
at his CONSPIRACY INC. teammates... It was kind of sad, seeing old NEON KNIGHT
stumbling around the arena, before WHAT UP finished him off. Oh well! It was so
gross when WHAT UP of JUST CHILLIN killed NEON KNIGHT. They should start making
warriors use safer weapons, or more shields, or something... Fight, fight, fight.
Is that all you guys can do?
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
wash. I know how much you like reading this stuff, but I really should stop.
Remember you guys, ease up sometimes! Chill out! Later, Debby Tonte

My name is Elderberry. I have been in this arena for over a year now. Sorry I
missed the last turn--holiday. So Happy Holidays to all. -- Elderberry

Jeesh! What happened last turn? Did the mail boy get ambushed on his way to the
printing press? -- Kellumbo

Blind Illusion -- Well now. Looks like you were prepared for me and still came up on
the short end of the stick. Don't sweat it though, only one more turn to go after
this one. -- Snake Charmer

Neon Knight -- Dang! That was the strat that Guardian and I had been practicing all
week too! Maybe next time. -- Name Dropper

Cepacol -- And what, pray tell, is a Cepacol? -- Schwarzenegger

Cherry Pits -- Yeah, the pits aren't very good. I much prefer the sweet, chewy
cherry part. -- Tammy

Easy Breeze -- Well I'll be a three legged jack rabbit! That was a good fight there
son. Let's try that again real soon! -- Lucias Clay

Detective Kellumbo -- I have this feeling creeping up on me that Ilsa She-Wolf has a
story to enact. If you would care to send me a clue or two regarding how you see
her, or would like to see her, portrayed, I'd appreciate it. -- the Scribe,
LiviaATrealityDOTcom

John Edwards and Al Gore -- Perhaps we should be thanking you for killing Bull
Market, as he was certainly failing to perform up to standard. Unfortunately, we
don't quite see it that way. Prepare for four turns of bleeding. -- Judge, mgr. of
The Republicans

C. Braun -- Nice try. Go back to your liberal friends in Michigan. -- Clint Eastwood

Pear Tree -- You have too many carbs--it slowed you down. -- Brooks & Dunn

C'mon people! Somebody knock Snake Charmer off. I would if I had a decent warrior.
-- Al Gore
P.S. Congrats, Snake Charmer, on being DM.

The Scorpion -- Ha! Got ya back. Now everything is right in the world. -- Al Gore

Clint Eastwood -- Some tuff guy you are. Can't even do me the favor of killing off
CMB. Now I have to waste a DA. -- Al Gore

Tax Deduction -- Nice comeback. -- Al Gore

Tony Blair -- Bah! Stupid tea drinkers. -- Al Gore

Judge -- Bring on the bloodfeud. I will honor our old deal--no avoids--in this
situation like all the others. Also, what's with all the rednecks fighting for you?
-- Al Gore

Hammer 500-Hammer Run for the Roll Ups
                                  Hosted by Hammer

Niytyole Island DM 33 has dwindled to the point where as of T-482 [duedate
November 3, 2004] there were only 2 active stables listed with 3 inactive stables in
a once thriving and lively regular arena.
During the past 40+ cycles Hammer has been hosting the Hammer Run for the Roll
Ups in DM 33.
Thus far only the Ripper and Slasher categories have produced winners to claim
the 5 New Team Roll Ups Prize for being the first declared Style Master of their
respective categories to graduate.
Every contending stable has gone inactive for one reason or another, including
CASINO HAMMERZ, over the past several months.
Now DM 33 faces the harsh reality that if RSI chooses to close any arenas due to
little or no interest, Niytyole Island could very well head the list of endangered
regular arenas!
In an effort to preserve his beloved island, Hammer is announcing the
continuation of the Hammer Run for the Roll Ups; combined with the Hammer 500 which
will conclude both contests on T-500 [duedate July 13, 2005] should DM 33 continue to
remain open in the coming months.
     Attention Hammer Runners!
The Hammer Run is for 0 FE Basic Arena Warriors ONLY. Participants MUST Be
Declared in the P-ads On or Before their First DM 33 Basic Arena Fight to Qualify as
a Hammer Runner! Winners of Each Category will receive 5 New Team Roll Up Gift
Certificates mailed from RSI courtesy of Hammer! [On the condition that they
Graduate on or before T-500; see amended rules below!]
The following Style Master categories remain open with a listing of how many
declared contestants are still entered and their W/L recognition record at the time
of their disappearance from the Hammer Run competition:

STYLE MASTER CONTESTANTS WILL BE AWARDED TWO (2) GIFT CERTS AND ALL OTHER PRIZE
CATEGORIES WILL BE DECLARED NULL AND VOID BY HAMMER!!!!!!!!!
The purpose of this contest is to restore DM 33 to a lively and entertaining
arena!
Hammer is willing to foot the Prize bill in a last ditch effort to save Niytyole
Island from deletion if RSI and the Gladiatorial Commission decide that more arenas
need to be closed due to lack of participation and interest.
Should this effort fail to spare DM 33 from deletion, then Hammer is prepared to
transfer CASINO HAMMERZ to another arena if Niytyole Island is closed by RSI and the
Gladiatorial Commission.
