Notes from the arena champ.
Now that Kellumbo has graduated another scum, I take my rightful place on the
throne of Solven. Why is Solven infested with scum, you ask? My manager has no
idea. You don't see the veteran managers in the arena, Sentinel and Jorja, running
scum. Unfortunately, aimed-blow rollups are few and far between so it's an uphill
battle to eradicate the scum here in Solven. All the gold in the kingdom of Solven
for an aimer rollup. I hope to be here next turn, but who knows. Judge says that I
am an average striker that will retire after my last fight in Solven. Until then, I
say, "Do you feel lucky? Well, do you, punk?"

Ready for some action-packed adventure, some thrills, chills and spills? Well
fergit it, cause this is the Spyreport for SOLVEN. Too bad, JUST CHILLIN, but
KELLUMBO'S KIDS was just too good to be stopped. MVP award for CHRISTINE GREGOIRE?
CONSPIRACY INC.'s proud of her after beating SUPPLY SIDE and getting 18 points. Talk
about yer major upsets! SUPPLY SIDE's match with CHRISTINE GREGOIRE cost him a loss
of 16 points! Don't you think the Duelmaster is being unfair? I think CLINT
EASTWOOD should let ZEBROE be Duelmaster for a while, without fighting about it. I
hear the top team insists all their warriors get nine hours sleep. They want
photogenic fighters for PR photos.
So just why would someone becomes a warrior anyway? It can't be for these
really neat Spyreports can it? CONSPIRACY INC. was the most avoided team. Is a
209-179-14 record really that scary? Hhmph! What kind of warriors are KELLUMBO'S
KIDS? CONSPIRACY INC., an easy team to beat if I ever saw one, can't get them to
accept an invitation! Like, is ZOOIE popular, or what? He was challenged the most
in all of SOLVEN! He's got a 9-32-1, is that good?
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All SOLVEN ever talks about is fighting! Me,

HAMMER ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT
Be it known from the highest mountains to the darkest alleys of Alastari that
the veteran manager known far and wide as Hammer has now officially retired from
sponsoring contests as of September 15, 2005.
What a long time ago was a fun motivated activity to help promote our common
DM/D2 gaming interest in an effort to promote the growth and competitiveness of
selected arenas has become a far from fun experience.
In other words Hammer has had it!
The combination of real life situations interfering with the time needed to
effectively sponsor a contest, plus the attitudes expressed during such sponsorship
interference has led to Hammer closing his personal coin coffers and retiring from
his planned sponsorship of any future contests.
There are others in our close knit gaming community who are well able to step up
to the plate and continue sponsoring contests that make the basic game a fun
experience for all those who choose to compete and interact in such future endeavors.
Hammer thanks all managers both active and inactive who helped to make the
Hammer sponsored contests a historical and entertaining experience well worth the
time, effort and money spent over the past several years.
May the Cheers and the Jeers of future contests build upon the legacies of those
who have paved the way in years gone by to help make this game what it is today.
Hammer has no regrets for the part he has played in that history.
