SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster here with my bag to give you the news on last
week's fights. Hey everybody, watch out for GRIFF, who flew up 13 points in the
rankings after mashing IO OLDEND like a melon. Keep your eye on this gal. And
falling like a basher in the top ten was IO OLDEND, who dropped 9 points after a
disappointing (to say the least) bout with GRIFF. Going for the gusto and coming up
with aught but bloody knuckles was MIDDLE WAY 15's BELISSA HOUGH, who was turned away
from the Duelmastership by NAFISAH. 4 out of 5 gladiators surveyed protect the body,
so try and avoid aiming at that location.
Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the SOLVEN arena. Did you
hear that THE REPUBLICANS was most avoided team this week? Well, knowing the
personal hygiene of THE REPUBLICANS' warriors, I'm not surprised! Okay, so I may not
be funny, but catch 4-LETTER CURSE WORDS' act in the arena. Those acrobats seem to
be fairly deft at running from THE REPUBLICANS. And who is this JACKSON you ask,
with 59 points and a 6-2-0 record. Ooh, the tales I could tell! Well, it looks like
JACKSON wasn't happy with last turn's rank, so she went for broke by challenging up
29 points. No guts, no glory. I don't know about you, but when I saw JACKSON step
out on the sands with DOLBY JOSSEL, I though it was over before it started. Good
upset JACKSON!
Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the
most interesting, though! Congrats to CHUCKER ISTTA for revenging the death of his
teammate (but more importantly, feeding SHOOT a bit of dirt). Remember: alliances
are great, but try and take your ally in the arena with you and see what happens.
Well, there's the manager of the SOLVEN giving me the 'cut' sign (or is that
'They're going to strangle you in the alley?). C'mon, Leadfoot, let's make some
tracks. Its been fun, and I'm sure you enjoyed it (boos). Now that I've got you
worked up for Snide Clemens, I'll be leaving-- The Unknown Spymaster

PERSONAL ADS
The Khalhums Dwarf? I'm, er, ah, sure he's a fine fellow, and he did teach me a
useful attack skill, but, um, I was expecting somebody else? -- Edgiles Kapp
Yes, and I think it was GROSSLY unfair to expect the poor Dwarf to fight TWICE in one
day. I mean, sure, his strength is as the strength of ten because his heart is solid
stone, but still. -- Belissa Hough
How can a Criminal be Civilized? It's a contradiction in terms, isn't it? I mean,
Civilized: adjective, of or promoting the harmonious co-existence of persons.
Criminal: noun, one who places personal desires first above all things at all times
to the extent of disrupting the agreements by which people co-exist. In other words,
to be a Criminal is automatically to be un-Civilized, yes? -- Chucker Istta
P.S. If the arenamaster hadn't stepped in, I'd've squashed him like a bug.
Duncan Hunter -- A real opponent! I'm semi-impressed. Not a great match for you,
but in an arena this size, you just take the match you can get, right? -- Dolby
Jossel
Well...I guess the Friendly Constable was okay. I won, and I got a couple of skills,
which my teammates tell me is a good thing. Both a good thing, you know. So...okay.
I'm just not used to so much, um, friendliness from constables. -- Io Oldend
P.S. I didn't mean to kill him, and they tell me it isn't permanent, so I won't feel
badly about it.
Io Oldend -- I appreciate that you are new to this life, but still, I feel that you
were a little, hmm, overly vigorous, shall we say? Try not to do that again. -- Dom
Chas, Public Relations Constable
Red State -- You could at least let me have the price of a drink. -- One-Eyed Rock,
and how do you expect me to be POLITE, anyway?
Chucker Istta -- Never fear, I shall think up some appropriate revenge. -- Hess
T'Sillnim, White Collar Crimes to Order
Belissa Hough -- (sigh) Beautiful women, my downfall. Perhaps you will make amends
over dinner? -- Szrikt Stonefist, Non-Khalhums Dwarf
P.S. Why everyone thinks a Dwarf MUST come from Khalhums, a miserable hole in some
worthless little "mountains," is beyond me.
Edgiles Kapp -- Your lovely teammate softened me up, or you wouldn't have managed
that. -- Szrikt Stonefist, Non-Khalhums Dwarf

I have not been receiving my physical turns in a reliable manner lately. If there
are diplos with the turns that go missing, they're gone for good. So if you send me
a diplo and do not see an acknowledgement of receipt in the personals, know that I
have not gotten it (yet). If you have email, contact me at Livia AT reality DOT com.
If you don't have email, keep trying with the diplos. We are working on this
problem. -- the Scribe/Jorja/Leeta
P.S. If you email me, put "Re DM" on the subject line.
