Notes from the arena champ.
These are nervous times we live in. Only three more fights to go before my invite to
the Isle, and immortality, sweet immortality. I'd just like to let Chucker know I
appriciate the good nature he has taken all these fights with. I was expecting the
stand-in last turn, and must admit, it is mind easing when we match up. Three more
turns to go, and then the throne can go back up for grabs. Until then, I am your
freak duelmaster.

SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster, back to give you this week's Spy Report. Sit
back in your seats and we'll have more fun than a barrel of Zontanis. Hey everybody,
watch out for GARBIN MOORIS, who flew up 15 points in the rankings after mashing
POLITE BEGGAR like a melon. Keep your eye on this guy. And falling like a basher in
the top ten was CHAWLIE ISTTA, who dropped 8 points after a disappointing (to say the
least) bout with ANTHON. Well, everybody's pal JACKSON moved hers record to 15-2-0
by defeating CHUCKER ISTTA in the Duelmaster's Title Bout and gaining 4 recognition
points. 4 out of 5 gladiators surveyed protect the body, so try and avoid aiming at
that location.
Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the SOLVEN arena. And hey,
kiddies, those of you who didn't avoid PROJECT MAYHEM, please raise you hand. Wow.
Does SOLVEN really have that many liars? For those of you who like math, try this

Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the

Dolby -- Hmm, that seemed much closer to me than our other fights. Along the line of
what Kellumbo and Jorja discussed last turn, would you be interested in a fight where
we both use only shields for a weapon? I bet it would make for an interesting read.

P.S. Arenamasters don't like it when people are undefeated in their arenas, you
know. The other arenamasters sneer at them at office parties and say they're running
a pussycat arena, and they do NOT mean it's got werecats in it. A loss or two would

I don't understand this emphasis on teaching us all Kung-Fu. I know that gladiators
who make it into the upper levels on the Isle are better off if they have some Kung-
Fu background, but I have NO intention of fighting in Primus, so why ME? I just have
