                                      SPY REPORT

It is I, Novgorodny Vir, Spymaster of Spymasters. Look on my work, ye mighty,
and despair! KRILL CAVALRY? Who? WATER DECK is the top team these days, buddies!
WATER DECK had cause to celebrate, after TENTACRUEL got 18 points by beating
LIMPETTE. LIMPETTE certainly had a baffled expression on hers face, after losing to
TENTACRUEL and losing 16 points in the process! Can you believe it? WARTORTLE
apparently has better things to do as ZORPUNT's Duelmaster than show up and fight!
What can be a greater victory? GYRADOS has taken his place as the top, as ZORPUNT's
new Duelmaster. So who was the warrior seen charging into immovable walls and
challenging dead trees? Someone's got a basic problem...
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? Like a horde of jackals fleeing from the lion, so
did the "warriors" in ZORPUNT avoid AUSSIE KILLERS. The warriors of AUSSIE KILLERS
found their efforts at combat frustrated as FACES OF DOOM apparently had more
important things to do than fight. Everyone is famous for fifteen minutes, and TOMBO
LARK is it right now. Most challenged warrior. Isn't KRILL CAVALRY proud!
Is there life after death? Pragmatics (and warriors) know there is death after
life! Ask not a spymaster for counsel, for he will pontificate long after you have
fallen into an unconscious stupor.
Do not think spyreporting in ZORPUNT is the highlight of my life. As the
seasons change, and the creatures of the wild change also, so do I feel a yearning to
leave this place. ZORPUNT, I leave you now. The Duelmaster has agreed to foot my
bill at The Welcome Wench. 'Til next time-- Novgorodny Vir

Gorthaur -- Doom? What doom? Your face may not launch a thousand ships, it may stop
a clock here and there, but it doesn't look like the face of DOOM. -- Joe Poole

Great White Shark -- When the teeth bite...OUCH! -- Tombo Lark

Stonefish -- (grumbling) You're probably a konep in disguise. You've got that
nasty, underhanded air about you. You're out to GET me. -- Teller Flete

Boo -- You'd better go back to scaring geese, boy. Oh, wait...you couldn't say Boo
to a goose.... Well, tough luck. -- Limpette

Triskaidekaphobia -- Actually, that's an unfounded superstition. -- Pine Leaf
P.S. A real phobia, right enough, but still.
