                                      SPY REPORT

Hail and well met warriors of ZORPUNT! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team WATER DECK was
unseated this week as KRILL CAVALRY moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot
with a 5-0-0 record for the round. In one of the week's more notable duels, JOE
POOLE put down TIGER SHARK, causing him to lose 7 points of recognition in the
process. Although M. CHARDINEE made a valiant effort, it did not suffice to topple
the reign of victorious TENTACRUEL. Would you believe that over half of the old
women in ZORPUNT seem to feel that they could fight better than you gladiators?
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city ZORPUNT. I saw one fighter that warriors avoided when this week's
challenge seeking began. AUSSIE KILLERS is feared. This much I can say. If you
didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find any of WATER DECK
last week. Busy avoiding AUSSIE KILLERS? Mighty fighters cannot but expect
competition from those below. GYRADOS take warning! You have more than a few
enemies in ZORPUNT. At the gambling halls I have started to bet money on KING BROWN
SNAKE. He has got the courage it takes. Witness his challenge this turn against
PINE LEAF! To be sure the battle was a losing one. But I like to think KING BROWN
SNAKE at least gave PINE LEAF a run for hers money. I can not but mention with
disdain the name of GYRADOS who this week posted a challenge to a warrior a full 15
points below in the rankings. I thought GYRADOS showed great skill and promise when
he defeated STONEFISH. All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears
arms. One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
The girls are as pretty in ZORPUNT as ever I remembered them....and the fighters
as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! Ahh, but I can hear the spires of a far
off city calling to me. I must away! Till next we meet remember - the pen is
mightier than the sword, but a maul is a different story!-- Zontani Sharp Eyes

Gyrados -- Gods, you made me SOOO dizzy! I couldn't even see straight, much less
stand up and fight. This is a cruel thing to do to your opponent. -- Joe Poole
P.S. Congratulations on your ascension.

Reef Shark -- There are too darned many sharks around here!
P.S. And you're all hungry. Doesn't your manager ever feed you?

Tentacruel -- Look upon it as an act of charity on my part. My teammates didn't want
you to have to fight a standby, after all, and I drew the short straw. -- Pine Leaf
P.S. It amazes me the way you always suck up those skills. Makes me feel that I
must be doing SOMETHING right.

King Brown Snake -- I hate snakes. Really, really hate them, you know? If the
arenamaster hadn't stepped in when he did (do you suppose OURS is a demon, like the
one down in Tobir?), you'd be a snakeskin hatband. -- Bubba Jones

Poop Slinger -- You're disgusting. -- Trina Lark
P.S. Are you sure you aren't my sister in disguise?
