SPY REPORT
You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to LYRATILAN once again! What's with STRUCKBYLIGHTNING? He
actually beat THE MIDDLE WAY 4's QUIA SALIAN, and walked away with 12 more points
from the fight. Laughs were big at BRANDED & EXILED while they watched
STRUCKBYLIGHTNING clobber QUIA SALIAN. She lost 8 points and got bruised from
objects thrown from the stands. Apparently LYRATILAN isn't filled with as many
gutless wonders as I thought. The Dreaded Duelmaster got 2 challenges this turn!
THIS LITTLE PRIGGY's hatred of CHAUCERS WORDS surfaced again as STAYED HOME
challenged LYRATILAN's top dog. I can barely restrain my enthusiam for THIS LITTLE
PRIGGY's outstanding member, Duelmaster STAYED HOME. Advice to fighters with a 1
will--give up fighting!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. The
most avoided team was SCARLET BLADES. The bums at THIS LITTLE PRIGGY couldn't face
the challenges from SCARLET BLADES! No excuse for that! I hate going to the effort
of writing about the kind of fights that WE LIKE THE MOON gets in. He fights people
like HONOUR, 14 points below. I thought WE LIKE THE MOON showed great skill and
promise when he won victory over HONOUR. All right, so I slept through it! Big
deal!
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting
younger every day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here? The
end of another Spyreport! That's cause for celebration in my book! Remember--a good

Azereth of Scarlet Blades -- Hammer here! I was in charge of Crimson Vengeance in
the last days of Crimson Strategist's activity in DM. Strategist was released from
prison, got married and has a son and after returning overseas two years ago I lost
communication with him in late summer 2002. Crimson Vengeance evolved into the
Crimson Ascension Alliance and then when Master Darque offered me a Captaincy in the
Vendetta Cartel [which meant a good mix of active managers in some of the slow arenas
where I had active stables at the time!] the Crimson Ascension Family was born.
Recently I disbanded the Crimson Ascension Family [my wife and an inmate named Rook
were dropped from the alliance] and Firehawk joined me along with Maximillian [you
can find us in DM 28 and other arenas!] to form the Vendetta Cartel Tarantula Tribe.
I think I sent you a letter when the Crimson Vengeance was formed with Crimson
Strategist a few years back. Anyway, if it makes any difference to you or makes your
choice of an alliance any easier, both Firehawk and Maximillian live in Canada and I
am originally from Northville, Michigan where I graduated from high school in 1968.
You may have noticed my All Arena Ad advertising for Newbie Managers with online
capabilities? Communicating online would be most helpful as I am overseas working in
an American curriculum school as the Publication Editor there. School year runs from
September through June, so online communication is a must! The Vendetta Cartel also
has an online group which is very active. Other managers in the Vendetta Cartel
[there are other Families in the VC Alliance!] include Dr Mabuse, Kat, Street Legal,
Slaughter Priest, Sensei Jan, Fizban and probably at least 2 or 3 others who actively
comment on our online group. I extend to you the offer of a position as a Lieutenant
in the Vendetta Cartel Tarantula Tribe. Contact me via Email address
HammerDM@fastermail.com to let me know about your decision. Currently all my stables
have been deactivated due to a negative account balance. Beginning in November I
will be reactivating selected stables and warriors after my monthly salary begins
being issued from the school. You will find me in DM 59, DM 28 and DM 33 when my RSI
account receives deposits to get me out of the red and into the black; then by the
end of December or early January you will find selected warriors in DM 106 and a few
other arenas as well. Send me an Email and I do scout the online newsletters [which
is how I discovered your All Arena Ad by the way!] so I will check in on DM 25 for
responses to your Ad and any replies you make. Due to my overseas Snail Mail lag
time [anywhere from 12 days to over a month on average receiving DM packets!] I have

Felaweshipe -- I'm challenging for that rematch. I doubt there will be much of a
change in the results, but I'm gonna try anyway. It will likely be my last fight
here in the arena for Assur has said that I get one more fight after I am inducted to
Advanced DM, which unless something unforeseen happens, should happen this very turn.
And that last fight will take place at night. So, you and me, kid, to see who is the
