                                      SPY REPORT

You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to LYRATILAN once again! Ya gotta be quick on yer feet! Keep your
elbow off the table! Thrust! Block out the pain! WINDY CITY WOMEN is now ranked
1st with a 0-0-0 turn. Laughs were big at THE NATURALS while they watched THE CURSE
clobber POLEAX. He lost 12 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the
stands. I'm sure LYRATILAN is excited about TRIMOX, the new Duelmaster from OSCO
INTOXICATORS. (remember?) But when you've seen as many as I have... Advice to
fighters with a 1 will--give up fighting!
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. How well I know the feeling
of being in the most avoided team! Don't fall out of practive, MADTOWN! The bums at
KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND couldn't face the challenges from MADTOWN! No excuse for that!
What do people see in BRON CHOLLU? His 19-32-0? THE MIDDLE WAY 4 ain't talkin', but
he's got 89 points. BRON CHOLLU didn't quite know what to make of a challenge he
received from SPARK of ERRATA, who is 22 points below him. SPARK perhaps got his
just desserts, seeing as he subdued BRON CHOLLU and ended up with 87 recognition
points.
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. How long have I been here? I got people to see,
places to go...
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here? All
work and no play makes Olaf a dull fighter. Work and play no fighter dull Olaf.
Olaffighterwork and no play. I don't want to overstay my welcome...-- Olaf Modeen

Is there anybody in the DM game who is incarcerated that has had to litigate in order
to continue playing? Or anyone in the free world who may be able to help me with
case law or legal advice? The Administration has already taken "D&D type games" from
us once (though I recently had that decision overturned). I believe it's only a
matter of time before they try it again and I am prepared to file a lawsuit if need
be. I enjoy DM and any help that could be offered would be greatly appreciated! I

Ladies and gents...get your teams together and join in on the hottest and fiercest
contest ever to grace the arena sands! Intrigue, personal wars, you name it...we got
it going on! What is this contest? It's the Turf War IV in DM 47, North Fork!!
This fantastic contest was begun by my alliance mate Asmo Dius, and I've picked up
some of the slack. Contest starts on Turn 225 (approx. date June 9th?). It's an
"alliance-type contest", so grab your folks and bring them in for a bang up time.
Rules will be printed in the DM 47 newsletter at least until the contest starts. --

fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your
reservation soon before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and
several people were unable to book rooms last year because they waited too long.)
Look for transportation info in the tournament information sheet. We hope you're all
looking forward to it and that we will see you there!
