I, Novgorodny Vir, return once again! The boys at MADTOWN left the arena dejected,
after being kicked out of the top spot by THE MIDDLE WAY 4. Good show! SLACKER
certainly had a baffled expression on his face, after losing to THEODORIC and losing
2 points in the process! Out with the old, in with the new. Enter VIRGINAL
CONCUBINE, handily defeating MENTAL. With 85 points, VELOND WOK of THE MIDDLE WAY 4
takes the position of LYRATILAN's Duelmaster. Word has it one team in LYRATILAN is
using psychics to predict wins. They lead a charmed life!
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas? Is it charming personality? Conversational
abilities? Good oral hygiene? Whatever it is, VELOND WOK is the most challenged
warrior. QUIA SALIAN found herself challenged by a warrior 18 below: JOCKO. JOCKO
of MADTOWN kept his wits as he bested QUIA SALIAN.
Is there life after death? Pragmatics (and warriors) know there is death after
life! Like a tattered, worn-out, faded, out-of-fashion garment cast out to rot,
BLANK of ERRATA has been summarily sent to the Dark Arena. Questions are being
raised about the disposing of severed body parts in the arena. A certain tavern in
LYRATILAN would I avoid!

Spark -- Do you notice anything STRANGE about this arena? I mean, half the
gladiators get together every night to howl at the moon, whether the moon is there or
not, but they can't even manage a whine in the newsletter? Granted, dogs, and by
extension wolves, and thus maybe even werewolves, are not literate, but not EVERYONE
here is a werewolf. You'd think the newsletter was steeped in garlic juice...or is
