SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of LYRATILAN! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team MADTOWN was unseated
this week as THE MIDDLE WAY 4 moved up from 3rd ranking to take the top spot with a
4-1-0 record for the round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the
corner! Witness how this week PRIMATES-R-US went 2-1-0 to move up 3 in the rankings.
My praise to THE MIDDLE WAY 4 for their 4-1-0 week this time out. Indeed, it was a
skillfully fought round deserving of notice! JUNGLE JIM caught the eye of many in
the gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested THEODORIC and was awarded 17
points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, JUNGLE JIM put down
THEODORIC, causing him to lose 11 points of recognition in the process. Not for
nothing has BLOODSHED in the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this
week he's proven his combat skill yet again. Heed this! A seer has warned that if
exactly 6 die in duels this week, the whole city shall perish! Just remember...5 or
7!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In LYRATILAN "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! I saw one fighter that warriors avoided when
this week's challenge seeking began. WIND STORM is feared. This much I can say.
Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent the better part
of last week avoiding WIND STORM. Indeed it was PRIMATES-R-US. Loose talk at the
arena has reached my ears and it but confirms the knowledge that many fighters are
after QUIA SALIAN. Watch your back! MONKEY SUIT must really be harboring a grudge
against the THE MIDDLE WAY 4 guild! Merciless, 16 challenged down ERHLIE FAY points
this week to duel with it. Surprising everyone, ERHLIE FAY bested MONKEY SUIT,
earning 23 points of recognition in the process! A knave's just desserts are the
sweetest victory.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears arms. One thing
is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
The girls are as pretty in LYRATILAN as ever I remembered them....and the
fighters as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! More than a sharp eye must I
keep, indeed a stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari

All -- Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have to shut down the vast majority of my
teams temporarily. I hope these circumstances will be only for a single turn, but
two turns is not out of the question. I make humble apologies to Noachian and the
manager of Jelly Bellies, because I will not be available for the Bloodfeuds they so
rightly deserve. I am trying to correct the situation, and it looks promising. I

A few notes about e-mailed personals:
You may submit personal ads, columns, spotlights, etc. electronically, either via e-
mail to ads at reality dot com (which doesn't need any more spam, thank you) or on
the web at http://www.reality.com/duel2/modules.php?name=Ads. When you submit
something, you should get back a receipt from HAL at RSI. If you do NOT get a
receipt, your ads may have gone astray (not all e-mail makes it to its destination
any more than all snail mail does). If you DO get a receipt, it should, in the body
of the message, tell you what arena your stuff was filed in. Check your receipt to
make sure your submission made it to the intended destination. Also check to see
that everything you sent made it to the same place. Sometimes HAL, who is rather
simple-minded in some ways, will send half your stuff to another arena if the name
or number of that arena shows up at the beginning of a line. So if the word Ti
appears at the beginning of a line halfway through your ads, all the ads after that
may end up in Ti, which is closed and doesn't need ads. As a side note, sometimes
things move slowly, so don't wait until the last minute to send your ads and all.
If they get held up along the way, they may not show up until next turn. Happy
