SPY REPORT
I was going on vacation, see? Surf, sun... But what do those bums say? "Hit
the road, Debby Tonte. CALEAM needs a spyreport." Oh, well. Like, VENOM had to be
so embarrassed when they got kicked off #1 spot by SEEING RED! Way to go SEEING RED!
MVP award for HAMMERFALL? HEADBANGERS' proud of him after beating LIONFISH and
getting 12 points. Talk about yer major upsets! CANE TOAD's match with ROSIE cost
him a loss of 9 points! Oh, wow, like the Duelmaster must be the most popular guy in
all CALEAM. He got the most challenges. (But what about proposals?) SAILOR VENUS
thinks hers 20-5-0 and studly character is good enough to face up to the Duelmaster.
Any bets? This Duelmaster is like something else! FIRE stopped SAILOR VENUS dead in
hers tracks! Who was the wiseguy that said CALEAM's Duelmaster was paying for drinks
at The Warty Toad? Don't look at me!
Look, you guys stick to fighting, all right? HEADBANGERS was the most avoided
team. Is a 425-309-25 record really that scary? Is there some deep dark secret why
SHERWOOD FOREST's been avoiding HEADBANGERS so much? Or is it just that they're too
scared?
What does a fighter fight for? I mean, the crowds don't give a hoot if someone
gets killed. Not after four more fights. Hey you guys, don't you think your
families would like to hear from you? Write! (Or have someone write for you.)
I really didn't, you know, study when I was a kid. Who would've guessed I'd be
a famous Spyreporter? I'm getting tired of writing this stuff, so I'm calling it
quits. Its been really albendranius! Later, guys-- Debby Tonte

Wow! Upchallenges of 45, 23, and 33 sure make it easy to go 0-5 in the arena! Note
to self: Must find happy medium.... -- Sablon-O-Vlad
Go-Fer -- Why don't you go fer a walk. Our bloodfeuding is done. -- Rosie
Fire -- Well, I do have one last trick in my bag. Hope you're not avoiding. --
Splinter
Sailor Venus -- Well done. It would have been easy for you to lose that one. Looks
like you made your "must not lose to young upstart punk" rolls. -- Doomsday
Poppa Lode -- Guess you didn't like that grandpappa comment last turn, eh? Well
done. -- Hammerfall
Papaiz -- Nice to see you are planning on writing PA's for a bit. Sure is nice to
not be the only one. As far as the face, if I can find room to stay with someone, I
just might make it. Why, are you going? And if so, how would you like a roomie ? :)
Drop me a line if you want to talk about it. -- SOV
Lord Fang -- I agree, a TV for Caleam should not be that difficult. Perhaps we make
a contest out of it next mail in that all the managers in this arena agree on. We
could all wager one team RU, and whichever warrior from this arena makes it the
farthest in the tourney wins it for that manager. Just a thought. We'll have to
work it out when tax time gets a little closer. -- SOV
Leeta -- Splinter has had one tourney. As far as your warriors, would it be possible
to share stats upon graduation? That would be cool. -- SOV
Splinter -- Another excellent attempt. Why don't you just jump me in the tunnel
before the fight? -- Fire, who has grown tired of trying to get Duelmasters Columns
past the gremlins
Fire -- If you're still the Duelmaster, you can send a copy of your column to me
directly at Sue at solberg-mathews dot com and I'll make sure it goes in. -- Ed.
Miss Priss -- That was exactly the match-up I didn't want. The very thought made me
nervous, but it seems to have turned out all right. -- Ruby, hoping it doesn't happen
again
Professor Koribus -- Where are MY 3 skills?!? -- Blackadder, feeling definitely
cheated
Hidden Doom -- I've got your doom. Pick a hand! -- Cane Toad
Birthday Girl -- You intrigue me. Does the party hat offer any protection at all?
Must be steel-lined.... -- Lionfish
Molly Hatchet -- Hmm. I can't say I was particularly pleased by that performance on
my part. I may need another try. What do you say? -- Massasaugus
All -- Well I must say it is quite gratifying to see some new teams pop into the
arena, even if it's only temporarily. Welcome to the new blood! -- Lord Fang, mgr.
Venom
R'aka -- Was it really necessary to jump in and start killing warriors? -- Venom
Bouncer -- The voices in the stands are easier to take than the voices in the head.
-- Lionfish
Miss Priss -- You're right! Perhaps I should try some more vibrant shade of red...
and I think I'll find it on the sands. -- Pink
All -- Do any of you have e-mail addresses you are willing to share? -- Lord Fang,
a.k.a. Edge in many other arenas
P.S. Modernatlas@aol.com
Papaiz -- I'd be very interested in discussing some style design, if Flimsy is any
indication of a consistent design. -- Lord Fang

All you alliance-type people, I'm trying (again!) to get my alliance listing correct
and up to date. Either send me a diplo (address it to The Saint) or send your
updates to me directly at Sue at solberg-mathews.com. As you may guess, replace the
at with @ and you're good to go (I do hate spammy mail and this will end up on the
web).
I have information on the following alliances: ADIO, Allied Axis, Armada,
Brotherhood of Justice, Brotherhood of the Blade, Cadre, CDC, Chaos, Inc., Circle of
Order, Company of Brothers, Consortium, Council of Lords, Couple Good Guys, Crimson
Vengeance, DOA, DOOMcorps, Enigmafia, Eurosquad, Fascist Federation, FONZ,
Frothingslosh Syndicate, GAPPDA, Homeland Alliance, IT Alliance, Jingoists, kLk,
Knights of the Covenant, LBA, League Arcane, Legion6, Living Essences, Lords and
Ladies of Darkness, Manic Union, Midnight Foundation, Minions of Diana, Monarchs of
Montezuma, NCA, NIMROD, R.A.G.E., Seventh Sons, The Firm, The French Connection,
Vendett@ United, and the Vendetta Cartel.
If you are a member of one of these alliances, let me know. If you are a member of
some other alliance that isn't listed, let me know. If you were at any point in your
past a part of one of these alliance but are now independent, also let me know.
Going inactive doesn't mean you get removed from this list; people are assumed to
still be in the same alliance when they return. Even having everyone in an alliance
go inactive doesn't change anything. If an alliance is officially disbanding, that's
another thing you have to let me know....
The Saint, keeper of lists
P.S. If you already responded to my online plea (and I replied), you can ignore
this.

Hammer 500-Hammer Run for the Roll Ups
Hosted by Hammer
Niytyole Island DM 33 has dwindled to the point where as of T-482 [duedate
November 3, 2004] there were only 2 active stables listed with 3 inactive stables in
a once thriving and lively regular arena.
During the past 40+ cycles Hammer has been hosting the Hammer Run for the Roll
Ups in DM 33.
Thus far only the Ripper and Slasher categories have produced winners to claim
the 5 New Team Roll Ups Prize for being the first declared Style Master of their
respective categories to graduate.
Every contending stable has gone inactive for one reason or another, including
CASINO HAMMERZ, over the past several months.
Now DM 33 faces the harsh reality that if RSI chooses to close any arenas due to
little or no interest, Niytyole Island could very well head the list of endangered
regular arenas!
In an effort to preserve his beloved island, Hammer is announcing the
continuation of the Hammer Run for the Roll Ups; combined with the Hammer 500 which
will conclude both contests on T-500 [duedate July 13, 2005] should DM 33 continue to
remain open in the coming months.
Attention Hammer Runners!
The Hammer Run is for 0 FE Basic Arena Warriors ONLY. Participants MUST Be
Declared in the P-ads On or Before their First DM 33 Basic Arena Fight to Qualify as
a Hammer Runner! Winners of Each Category will receive 5 New Team Roll Up Gift
Certificates mailed from RSI courtesy of Hammer! [On the condition that they
Graduate on or before T-500; see amended rules below!]
The following Style Master categories remain open with a listing of how many
declared contestants are still entered and their W/L recognition record at the time
of their disappearance from the Hammer Run competition:

SHOULD RSI CHOOSE TO CLOSE DM 33 PRIOR TO T-500 ONLY THE HIGHEST ACTIVE DECLARED
STYLE MASTER CONTESTANTS WILL BE AWARDED TWO (2) GIFT CERTS AND ALL OTHER PRIZE
CATEGORIES WILL BE DECLARED NULL AND VOID BY HAMMER!!!!!!!!!
The purpose of this contest is to restore DM 33 to a lively and entertaining
arena!
Hammer is willing to foot the Prize bill in a last ditch effort to save Niytyole
Island from deletion if RSI and the Gladiatorial Commission decide that more arenas
need to be closed due to lack of participation and interest.
Should this effort fail to spare DM 33 from deletion, then Hammer is prepared to
transfer CASINO HAMMERZ to another arena if Niytyole Island is closed by RSI and the
Gladiatorial Commission.
