SPY REPORT
Well, what are you looking at, CALEAM? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Later days, GOLDEN CANYON, since STEEL
CRUSADE took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. And if variety is
the spice of life, CALEAM may be getting bland, as CAYLON MCCANN stays top dog in the
city. Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks and bribes, how else do you think some of
these guys win their fights? Skill? Ha!
Well, let's take a look at some more misdeeds of you miserable sword-boys.
MOLDRAUN was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was the DM
insulted or feared? Heh, heh. I guess I can give a little credit to CALONYMUS of
STEEL CRUSADE for challenging up by 19 to MOLDRAUN. CALONYMUS won to get 84 points
of recognition.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. We're all going to die in the end, so why
worry if the fate catches up with you sooner that later?
There's got to be a better place in CALEAM to get a drink than The Welcome
Wench! Any suggestions? Well, I've had enough of this drivel, and I'm sure you have
too. Off like a dirty shirt of padded leather. Glad to see the back of this place--
Snide Clemens

Dink Gruntling -- Ah, thanks for reminding me why I don't do pig's knuckles. -- Short
Order Joe
Cnut Cnuklz -- Of course, the very thing! Pecans in the pancakes. And maybe a
special apple syrup to go over them. Yes, I can smell and taste it now.... --
Suzette Creppay, hurrying off to the kitchen
Caylon Mccann -- Great! A fast fight and away, that's the ticket. I know chicken
pot pie is "ordinary," but some days I *like* ordinary. With a little garlic and
less of the cream-of soup, it'd be perfect. Well, tastier, anyway. I'm not getting
the "cream-of soup" thing, and I'm glad to note that most of my teammates eschew it.
-- Moldraun
P.S. Let's face it, "with cream-of soup" is little-old-lady food.
Calonymus -- I wonder if anyone's tried that with ginger root? But the pepper-red
plates were a hit. I do like to see a visually exciting meal. -- Corot Toro
The Shiftyeyed Volunteer was trying to snatch bites from my kettle. Of course I cut
his hand off! A person can wait till I say it's done and then ask politely, or he
can starve. -- Kettelman

CALLING ALL THUGS, BRUTES, OGRES, QUARTER HALF WITS, SHALLOW HALBERD ENTHUSIASTS AND
MAUL RATS: Since the Bashing style has often been maligned in the forums, it is time
to give the style a little tough love with the following concept: An ALL-BASHER
arena. The rules are simple--enter the arena as a rookie basher. That's it. RSI
said I need to get 20 managers on board and I'm about half way there. If you are
interested in taking part, PM me in the forums or email me: chase at accesspr.com
and put D2 in the subject header.

ATTENTION EVERYONE -- In March I am going to do manager lists for all arenas. This
is part of my ongoing and undoubtedly largely futile attempt to get my lists
organized. If you think I might not know who you are or if you think I might and
you'd rather I not share that information, let me know this month! You can e-mail
me at Sue at solberg dash mathews dot com (replacing the at, dash and dot with
appropriate characters. You can send a diplo to The Saint. You can put an ad in
the newsletter. Semaphore doesn't work so well, nor does telepathy. -- The Saint,
