We're being insulted by the Fates.
I could tell you about the asparagus I prepared recently. Normally, that
wouldn't be my "thing," but M. Chardinee, who is a dear, fine man when he isn't
trying to be a gladiator, brought me some really good fresh asparagus and I perpared
it in puff pastry shells as a sort of appetizer. No, I am NOT going to try to figure
out how to spell or derves. Forget that and try these asparagus and cheese pastries.
They're quite good.

I doubt CALEAM will ever be the same. And let's see, SPUD LOOMIS fought JACKIE O and
gained 13 points and contributed to GOLDEN CANYON's 5-0-0. JACKIE O has lost to SPUD
LOOMIS, falling 1 points, while helping make FIRST LADIES a 1-2-0 turn. The attempts
to dethrone the Duelmaster have failed, and PASCELLA remains CALEAM's top warrior for
another turn. Can someone confirm a rumor for me? I hear the top team makes their
losing fighters do dishes at The Welcome Wench until they win. Maybe?
He who challenges well, fights well. He who avoids without cause, shall lose
for good reasons. My mama told me that one.
The Dark Arena is for those who cannot win, not who cannot lose with grace.
Dignity in life or death is the warrior's creed. Is it really true that CALEAM has
more dishwashers per capita that fighters? Just thought I'd ask...
