Notes from the arena champ.
I think it is just a little bit early for me to be on the Morya throne. There
are warriors with many more wins who are probably better than I am. Neverteless, I
am proud of the accomplishment.
It is a fearful place. It is. Deadly warriors want this spot. Any top warrior
is skilled enough to kill. A Duelmaster has to win, else a loss can mean death.
I want more to be a Lord Protector than I do to be a Duelmaster, but I am many
fights away from that possibility. I must live to attain it.
Fate has brought me to this point. I shall fight to retain it. Prepare for
your most difficult fight yet, for you are about to be Taxed.

SPY REPORT
Busy, busy, busy, lots of things happening in MORYA this turn, and let's start
with a look at some of the teams. It seems the training can make the difference, as
ISIS PTAH is pushed out of top team by EXPENSE ACCOUNT, who came from 2nd with a
4-1-0 this turn. Now keep the taverns open late tonight, for there are sorrows to
drown for D'HARAN EMPIRE, whose 0-0-0 this turn dropped them by 6 into 11th. The
EXPENSE ACCOUNT guild has had a 4-1-0 turn and deserves to be watched in the future.
You never know where this kind of thing can lead. And let's see, CASANOVA fought
SHUPALJ and gained 21 points and contributed to BIZARRO SQUAD's 2-2-0. ZOD has lost
to PYRITE, falling 9 points, while helping make ZULU NATION a 2-2-1 turn. Defending
its title for another turn, TAXES kept ZULU NATION's warrior, ZOE (DARKFACE), from
claiming the throne. Tell me, is nothing sacred? I have heard from unimpeachable
sources that Salty's Chowder House uses trolls in their stew. Talk about gristle!
Oriental wise man once say, 'Hiding behind shields prevents proper sun tanning.'
Inscrutable, but true. I also notice that the DODGE BULLETS stable was the most
avoided team this turn. Come on MORYA, what are you afraid of? And avoiding DODGE
BULLETS more than any other team we find EXPENSE ACCOUNT. MORYA, are we going to
accept, or respect this sort of thing? Well, sports fans, take notice that SHUPALJ
from PHANTACITY was MORYA's most challenged warrior this turn. In a brave attempt,
BOMBYCINUS MORS from STEEL AND SILK challenged up 18 points to fight POP TARGET from
the DODGE BULLETS stable. BOMBYCINUS MORS perhaps got hers just desserts, seeing as
she was subdued by POP TARGET and ended up with 33 recognition points.
