Notes from the arena champ.
Aha! I am back. This will be short and sweet. I planned to go to Philly as a
maxed Champion. But, somehow I got "bumped" from The Consortium roster. Maybe I can
lobby for my place back? I am sure The Consortium Elders do not want taxes raised.

It is good to see the new faces in Morya. There is both a great competition and
a great comraderie here. I wish everyone well.
Most importantly, may I rest in this Duelmaster spot again next turn and soon
get a graduation notice. (Which means--living through the tournament, if I go--and
beating some very worthy challengers.)

SPY REPORT
Much has changed in MORYA since last I was here. Never fear, Olaf Modeen adapts
to many situations, as do all successful fighters. Woof! THE PENTARCHY were a bunch
of dogs after DODGE BULLETS got through with 'em! 2nd ain't so sweet as 1st! Up 'n
down. Up 'n down. Rankings always change. Up 'n down. I think I'm gonna be...
Well, DODGE BULLETS' 1st moved them up to 3-2-0 place. What's with ACCRUED INTEREST?
It actually beat PHANTACITY's SHUPALJ, and walked away with 19 more points from the
fight. Laughs were big at EXPENSE ACCOUNT while they watched ACCRUED INTEREST
clobber SHUPALJ. He lost 14 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the
stands. Try as she might, VRTOGLAVA wasn't good enough at persuading TAXES to step
down from the Duelmaster's throne... Advice to fighters with a 1 will--give up
fighting!
Speaking of cowardly avoiders and unfair challenges... MORYA thinks THE
PENTARCHY and their 432-260-13 is too much! If at first you don't succeed, give
up... In my day, no team with a 430-259-13 would scare me off! What's the problem,
PHANTACITY? What do people see in SHUPALJ? His 7-7-0? PHANTACITY ain't talkin',
but he's got 28 points. SUNET of PHANTACITY knows how to pick 'em. She challenged
THE INFLUENCER of LORD OF DISCIPLINE who is up by 23. Now was this a wise move?
SUNET perhaps got hers just desserts, seeing as she bested THE INFLUENCER and ended
up with 66 recognition points.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? Many a warrior has met his fate in a hungover stupor. You
young rapscallions, take note!
Well, I'm pretty much through. You guys need to get back practicing. The end
of another Spyreport! That's cause for celebration in my book! Time for my
