TEAM SPOTLIGHT
Rebecca and Salina were at the market shopping for food. Rebecca scrutinized
each piece of food while Salina held the basket. She always tried to get the
freshest food for the stable. The Harkeny girl enjoyed spending time with Rebecca.
Especially since she became duel mistress. It was like being around royalty. When
she beat Lilly, people really hated her. They said all kinds of nasty things about
her and her elven heritage. But after she beat Capex, things changed. People have
warmed up to her and now say hello. Some even shook her hand and congratulated her
on a good fight. Maybe they finally realized that she was a serious gladiator. But
what Salina loved the most were the gifts. Someone had sent her a box of exotic
chocolates. Each chocolate was about the size of her finger nail and had three
grains of rock salt on top. When she ate the chocolate, the two combined to make a
heavenly taste. Salina proclaimed that she could have eaten pounds of the stuff and
never grown tired of them.
"Oh no!" Rebecca said with a sigh. The elven woman was so startled she had
dropped an apple on the ground. The merchant exclaimed that she would have to buy it
because it was bruised. She then turn and faced Salina.
"Don't look. It is Capex. Ever since our fight, he has been following me with
this big goofy grin. It's as if my beating him turned into some kind of puppy love."
Salina acted as if she looking at the apples, but her eyes moved to look at
Rebecca's admirer. "Wow, Rebecca, he is cute."
Rebecca was surprised by the comment. Maybe Salina was looking at the wrong
person. "I am talking about the big guy in the yellow shirt."
"Yeah, that's the one."
"No. I mean the guy with the course back hair sticking out of the neck of his
shirt."
"I saw it. It makes him look manly. I'd love a go with him."
"Manly? He's not even hu... wait.... You don't know about Capex, do you?"
"Besides being a hunk, what else do I need to know?"
Rebecca's lips turned into a mischievous smile. "Nothing. Nothing at all."

DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
So, this is my second turn holding the title. It's hard to believe when I came
out of retirement, I had a losing record. I was 5-7-0 and couldn't hit an opponent
for all of the money in Ghea. Now, I am duel mistress. I hope all of you managers
who send frustrating warriors to the Dark Arena take note; Perseverance pays.
Capex, thanks for putting your neck out like that. :) I have to ask you a
couple of questions; does your back hair double as rear armour? Are you sure you
have almost thirty-two teeth? Maybe you meant twenty-two teeth. Repeated shots to
the face with a maul will cause that problem. The sick part is Stink Breath thinks
it's sexy. Evidently, she needs an eye exam... and a few sessions with a
psychiatrist.
Since I am in the inquisitive mood, where in the name of Tinnuuv are all of
these golems coming from? Maybe they have a thing for the Lords. We keep running
into them.
This really pains me, but I will challenge Lily of Sarmatia and Capex
respectfully next turn. They are the highest ranks warriors after all. So, which
will I face next turn; the berserker frenzy of Lily or the back hair of Capex? I'm
not looking forward to either. Especially after what I learned about Capex. I'll
keep it to myself because a girl never tells all of her secrets. I would love to
cross blades with Funky Chicken or Pop Target again. I think those two would make
really good duel masters.
Someone needs to take that young pup, Eye Bags down a notch or two. Have you
seen him strutting around the city like he owns it? Someone please explain to him he
only has five fights. Okay, I need to pack up my equipment and meet Stink Breath and
Koroshiya. We have a long trip ahead of us to the tournament.

SPY REPORT
Thankyouthankyou. It's great for me, The Unknown Spymaster to be back in MORYA.
Hope you enjoy the show. Oh, who am I kidding? I already got paid! We now have a
new top team for all of you guys to dogpile on. EXPENSE ACCOUNT now holds the crown
and they are betting they can keep it. Coming up with a solid 4-1-0 outing, DODGE
BULLETS has advanced 3 places in the rankings. Ya know, some days it doesn't pay to
walk out on the sands. STINGER was defeated by POP TARGET and drops 19 points.
CAPEX got through to the Duelmaster this turn. No doubt he was more than anxious to
kick THE INFLUENCER's tail out of the throne! Well, everybody's pal THE INFLUENCER
moved hers record to 15-10-0 by defeating CAPEX in the Duelmaster's Title Bout and
gaining 12 recognition points. An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but an onion a
day keeps T.P.s at bay.
Here is other news that is of note. Here's a song for you: Who's afraid of the
big, bad THE WOLF PACK? Big bad THE WOLF PACK. Big bad THE WOLF PACK. MORYA's
afraid of the big bad THE WOLF PACK. Tra la la la la! And you guys like to boo me?
Well, unsling your rasberries, cause LORD OF DISCIPLINE beats feet every time THE
WOLF PACK smiles at them. Try farming, eh? And who is this STINK BREATH you ask,
with 32 points and a 5-3-2 record. Ooh, the tales I could tell! In a touching
display by a 'touched' warrior, FUNKY CHICKEN went after LILY OF SARMATIA, who was
higher by 19 points. Well, when the dust settled, FUNKY CHICKEN subdued LILY OF
SARMATIA.
Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the
most interesting, though! We might as well mark the passing of STINK BREATH, who was
relatively new to the arena at 5-3-2. Probably killed before hers first shave.
Remember: alliances are great, but try and take your ally in the arena with you and
see what happens.
Well, there's the manager of the MORYA giving me the 'cut' sign (or is that
