Roadkill watched Whip Me Houston slowly exit his office and gently close the
door. After a few silent moment and comfortable she was gone, he once again
continued to tie up the last few ends before leaving. But then he heard the faint
sound of what seemed like someone killing a cat in the distance... a sound that made
him groan and bury his head in his hands.
"If I should stay...

SPY REPORT
You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to LAPUR once again! Biff! Pow! LAPUR watched with glee as MID
EARTH got knocked off top spot by EQUESTORS! Hmmmph! I always thought TREKKERS was
an over-rated team and they proved it with a 0-0-0! Some people say I ramble too
much, I don't say anything relevant. I repeat myself. I ramble. Well STREET
WALKERS moved up 1, to 6th. What's with RINDEL? He actually beat CARDOW HUNTERS'
BUTTERFLY, and walked away with 19 more points from the fight. Major screwup at
CARDOW HUNTERS. BUTTERFLY lost 18 points to RINDEL. Some new strategies, perhaps?
Maybe BUTTERFLY will provide more easy wins... Try as he might, DEATHWIND FORGE
wasn't good enough at persuading WHIP ME HOUSTON to step down from the Duelmaster's
throne... I suppose you want to hear some rumors and dirty gossip about your fellow
fighters? Tough!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. The
most avoided team was METAL MINCERS. The bums at CLAN CROW couldn't face the
challenges from METAL MINCERS! No excuse for that! How well I know the feeling of
being the most challenged warrior, DEATHWIND FORGE! Don't make idle boasts, they may
come back to haunt you. Taunt your opponent SAMA'EL! That was my lucky charm when I
was unfairly challenged. (and by 29 points!) STR82HEL should have an easy win.
STR82HEL overcame SAMA'EL. PLATES calls this fighting? In my day...
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. MAGDALA larned hers lesson (CAIRRAIG AMADAN taught
it well), and we right likely won't be seein' 'im fight any CLAN CROW members with
the same gusto. Someone told BIFF O'BRAGH that CARDOW HUNTERS never Bloodfeuded,
that he'd have an easy kill. Well, I'm sure whoever misled you is right sorry.
SKUNK CABBAGE was plum wore out after THERAEUS pounded 'im silly in a Bloodfeud.
TRAIL OF TEARS'll have to get a little better before going after THERAEUS again! How
long have I been here? I got people to see, places to go...
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here?
LAPUR is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. Time for my

Lapur -- Well, I remember the first time I saw Julianus. He was a young (13-10-3-9-
16-10-9) farm boy looking for adventure. I decided to give the youngster a chance
even though I had my doubts about someone that short. After some conditioning in my
ludus, Julianus had matured (15-12-3-11-21-11-11) into a gladiator with a chance of
survival. As it turned out, he performed better than I could have hoped. At his
retirement, his exercises had transformed him into a man (18-14-3-14-21-11-11) with a
winning percentage of 73. His innate ability to learn from experience allowed him to
achieve Advanced Expert ratings in INITIATIVE, ATTACK and DEFENSE, and Expert ratings
in RIPOSTE and DECISIVENESS. It was determined he was a VERY QUICK AND ACTIVE
gladiator and was INCREDIBLY QUICK and ELUSIVE making even dangerous opponents look
