Notes from the arena champ.
Alas fellow fighters me calling has come. No longer am me permitted ta walk
among me fellow fighters for it be time for me ta go to a better place. Where the
ale runs golden amber and the women actually look better than the Street Walkers.
Though word has it that Pinky be a pretty Lass O' quality! It be real, it be fun and
at times it even be real fun durin me time here in Lapur. Ahhh yes me going ta miss
ye all! Me know not all of ye be happy ta see me sittin in the throne and me sure
more than a few O' ye would love ta kick the legs oot from under me chair but me hold
no hard feelins against ye as me would do the same thing! Ora lass you keep takin
care O' that O'l miner he be a good laddie, RoadKill it be nice not ta see one O'
your so near the top in some time ta let me Clansmen have a shot for once. That be
mighty nice O ya! Specially with all the time me clan spends with ye lasses in
private! Visionist, well me need ta let ye know ye got some drool on ye chin.
Dannae worry lad you be in contention for the throne soon! Jorja, dannae worry the
sickness only lasts a short while and you'll remember who ye team be here and back ta
ye O'l self again. Equestors, ye lads keep kickin and you be back at the top before
ye know it. Trail O' tears, Well it looks like the tears dannae be workin for ye no
more, the rugs seem ta have caught on and still be sendin ye bad recruits. Ta the

SPY REPORT
Welcome LAPUR. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the fights have I
fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... Hmmmph! I always thought
TRAIL OF TEARS was an over-rated team and they proved it with a 0-0-0! Ya gotta be
quick on yer feet! Keep your elbow off the table! Thrust! Block out the pain!
CARDOW HUNTERS is now ranked 5th with a 4-1-0 turn. What's with KICKER MURPHY? He
actually beat TREKKERS' SCOTTY, and walked away with 24 more points from the fight.
Laughs were big at CARDOW HUNTERS while they watched MAPLESONG clobber PRIORE. He
lost 13 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the stands. Apparently LAPUR
isn't filled with as many gutless wonders as I thought. The Dreaded Duelmaster got 2
challenges this turn! METAL MINCERS' hatred of CLAN CROW surfaced again as INCONEL
INDENTER challenged LAPUR's top dog. Try as he might, INCONEL INDENTER wasn't good
enough at persuading KILLIAN MCGUINES to step down from the Duelmaster's throne...
Wouldn't it be nice to have live subjects to practice on? I hear some team is
looking into the uses of convicted prisoners.
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. LAPUR
thinks STREET WALKERS and their 652-446-56 is too much! If at first you don't
succeed, give up... Management must be dealin', as the boys at MID EARTH ain't
reelin'! STREET WALKERS' mad! RUTILIUS didn't quite know what to make of a
challenge he received from KULMAR of WAR PARTY, who is 21 points below him. KULMAR
perhaps got his just desserts, seeing as he bested RUTILIUS and ended up with 33
recognition points.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? SPICILLUS of EQUESTORS didn't know when to quit. When you've
got a 3-8-0, that's a good sign. Now he's dead. Here's some advice: study your
opponent, master many skills, fight dirty.
Well, I'm pretty much through. You guys need to get back practicing. The end
