Notes from the arena champ.
Greetins fellow lads and lasses O' Lapur! It be Pub ta chat ye up O' bit before
the next weeks bouts. It seems like everywhere me turn there be O' Trekker wantin me
throne! Now me gotta be watchin for that new pimp from Street Walker too! Anybody
with a name like Antsy Pants just might be on some PCP or somethin! Me dannae wanna
spread any rumors but that laddie cannae seem ta sit still! In other news. We
clansmen O' Clan Crow dannae be needin O reason ta drink but this be somethin worth
tossin one back too. Slanche! That o'l miner and his lassie Ora, had o' youngin get
hitched and me just wanna say congrats ta kick'n one oot O the nest and inta the
world ta do ye proud! Congrats ta ye two! May ye now find the time ta work oot
things b'tween yerselves *wink*. Smack O'malley stopped by the other day ta suggest
me get a bigger throne! Said "Looks like me grammy's rockin chair" and "ye need
somethin bigger ta make ye look bigger." Me tried ta tell him me not the big fella
like he be but he says that dannae matter. So he took it upon himself ta order me
this giant throne O' a chair that be big enough ta take o' nap in! Then Lucky comes
by and says "Awww laddie ye chair be too plain and ye cannae pick up the lassie's
with O chair like that!" So next thing ye know me got some lad carvin ivys and vines
inta me throne! Thankfully Killian came in with o big bottle o' mead and we got
pissed ta the point me passed oot in me overgrown ivy throne big nuff ta take a nap
in. Me feel much better now but me feel o' bit sorry for the next lad that gets
stuck with me chair!

SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster here with my bag to give you the news on last
week's fights. A stormcloud is brewing over the CARDOW HUNTERS guildhouse. Rumor
says any more weeks like this ones 0-5-0 may send the team to the Dark Arena. Coming
up with a solid 4-1-0 outing, STREET WALKERS has advanced 3 places in the rankings.
TREKKERS is no joke as it posted a 3-0-0 week advancing from 7th place to 4th place.
Hey everybody, watch out for DIVERGENT, who flew up 23 points in the rankings after
mashing DANGEROUS CRIMINAL like a melon. Keep your eye on this guy. And falling
like a basher in the top ten was CLAYBANK, who dropped 17 points after a
disappointing (to say the least) bout with CALYPSO. What does the Duelmaster and
Piltdown Man have in common? They are both the most challenged apes in human
history! Heyheyhey! Drawing on all of his experience as a 18-8-0 warrior, CAPT.
ANTSY PANTS went for the Duelmastership against PUB O'CONNOR this week. It's a proud
day for the STREET WALKERS stable, as their warrior, CAPT. ANTSY PANTS, ascended the
Duelmaster's throne. Advice to bashers--never force anything, just get a bigger
halberd!
Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the LAPUR arena. Did you
hear that STREET WALKERS was most avoided team this week? Well, knowing the personal
hygiene of STREET WALKERS' warriors, I'm not surprised! Okay, so I may not be funny,
but catch METAL MINCERS' act in the arena. Those acrobats seem to be fairly deft at
running from STREET WALKERS. Well, it looks like STEEL SHARPENER wasn't happy with
last turn's rank, so it went for broke by challenging up 31 points. No guts, no
glory. I heard STEEL SHARPENER laughed all the way to the inn as its new point total
of 99 was posted in the arena. I guess beating CAIRRAIG AMADAN really pays!
Remember that an arena is not always a safe place to be, but it is one of the
most interesting, though! Knowing when to use the right tactics at the proper time
is a very important step on the road to Duelmaster.
I think I had better cut this one short. It's been nice chatting to those of
