Hail and well met warriors of IAYE! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp Eyes,
Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Fortune did not smile upon ALL JACKED UP
this time out who this turn suffered a fall into 9th position in the wake of a 1-3-0
round. Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner! Witness how
this week WRATHMEN went 3-2-0 to move up 3 in the rankings. SPLITFINGER caught the
eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested ELMYDR and was
awarded 15 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels,
SPLITFINGER put down ELMYDR, causing him to lose 12 points of recognition in the
process. The city has turned out in honor of JAZMO, for with his arena victory he
may now lay claim to the highest position in the city! Would you believe that over
half of the old women in IAYE seem to feel that they could fight better than you
gladiators?
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. My inside sources tell me that the
team to beat in IAYE these days is ALL JACKED UP. At least, most blades in town are
looking to avoid them. If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard
pressed to find any of OMNITRIX last week. Busy avoiding ALL JACKED UP? Loose talk
at the arena has reached my ears and it but confirms the knowledge that many fighters
are after LUMBER JAK. Watch your back! At the gambling halls I have started to bet
money on HEATBLAST. He has got the courage it takes. Witness his challenge this
turn against BO CARTER! I must admit to some joy. Before my very eyes the underdog
in this contest, HEATBLAST, defeated BO CARTER to claim victory and recognition.
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers
the miserable with fortune but sets enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
