again time to cast your votes for this year's inductees into the Chimlevtal Hall of
Fame. Votes must be received by 14 January 2005. All Chimlevtal managers and
spymasters can vote. When casting your vote, state your manager's name and
Chimlevtal team name. You can vote by sending a diplo to The Stormguards (78), The
Stormbringers (359) or Stormwatch (440). Votes submitted in the personal ads and for
past winners will not be counted. The categories are:
BEST MANAGER: You may vote for up to three managers, active or inactive who
have led a team to 100 victories or more in Chimlevtal. Up to three will be
inducted. Past inductees are: The Icelord, High Lord Bosk and MHC in 99, Crip in

SPY REPORT
Greetings, warriors of CHIMLEVTAL! Once again I've been called out of
retirement for my abilities and insights into Spyreporting. Biff! Pow! CHIMLEVTAL
watched with glee as NOMENKLATURE got knocked off top spot by WHAMMO & THUDDA 4 U!!
Who can explain it? Not you, not me, not UNFIT TO BE ORCS' opponents, after watching
them shoot up the ranks from 18th to 7th. MIDDLE WAY 7 bit the big one as they could
not win. They dropped from 3rd down to 21st! Are you guy giving lessons or what?
SOL INVICTUS showed CHIMLEVTAL what they were made of as they fought with a vengeance
to walk off with 3-0-1. What's with MAGOG? He actually beat LORDS OF VALHALLA's
VILI, and walked away with 31 more points from the fight. Major screwup at KOSMOS'S
MATRIX. PARADOXE lost 18 points to COMMANDER SPUD. Some new strategies, perhaps?
Maybe PARADOXE will provide more easy wins... Another fighter (NAPULAK 26-9-0)
challenged another Duelmaster (GENERAL PUBLIC 13-14-0). Life goes on. I can barely
restrain my enthusiam for STORMWATCH's outstanding member, Duelmaster NAPULAK.
Advice to fighters with a 1 will--give up fighting!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. The
most avoided team was THE NIGHTHAWKS. In my day, no team with a 261-343-34 would
scare me off! What's the problem, OVERLORDS? How well I know the feeling of being
the most challenged warrior, WOLFE! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to
haunt you. Keep challenging up 27 points, DASKON, and I won't have to write about
you much longer. CHERRY 2000 always accepts those kind of challenges... I don't get
it. DASKON goes and challenges CHERRY 2000, way above him, but gets 1 points after
he loses! Is this a new strategy? JARL FORKBEARD didn't quite know what to make of
a challenge he received from SLEET of DIS TRACTIONS, who is 24 points below him.
SLEET perhaps got his just desserts, seeing as he was defeated by JARL FORKBEARD and
ended up with 4 recognition points.
Warriors of CHIMLEVTAL unite. You have only your games to lose! VILI of LORDS
OF VALHALLA didn't know when to quit. When you've got a 18-17-1, that's a good sign.
Now he's dead. ZEEMAR larned his lesson (AI taught it well), and we right likely
won't be seein' 'im fight any DARQUE FORCES members with the same gusto. How long
have I been here? I got people to see, places to go...
Well, I'm pretty much through. You guys need to get back practicing. All work
and no play makes Olaf a dull fighter. Work and play no fighter dull Olaf.

Fizban of the Cartel presents: recent history facts. Since going active in this
arena as a member of The Cartel I, Fizban, am 16-5-3 vs. COL. Most of those fights
on COL challenges or random matchups. Seven of 21 fights were my challenges in which
I accumulated a 6-1-0 record. (I can se why you avoid me.) Two of 21 fights were
random matchups. I won both of these. Now that leaves 12 out of 21 which were all
your challenges, COL. What was my W/L when you picked the fight? Hmmm, let me see.

Youngblood's Three and Out Contest
I would like to take this time to announce and invite all managers to compete in what
I think will be an awesome contest. If you haven't ever TC'd at a tourney before,
here is your chance. The contest will start Wednesday, December 1, 2004, but a
chance will be given November 17 to dark arena, only, any warrior that you do not see
fit to run in the contest. So now that I have your attention, here are the rules
(like you didn't know they were coming sooner or later).
1. Any manager participating can enter one team, only.
2. No sandbagging whatsoever. (I will keep up with it, every turn.)
3. No teams or warriors will be allowed to run after contest starts.
4. All warriors will run until they lose three times, after three losses they are
eliminated.
5. If a warrior sits out a turn, they are accounted with a loss in the contest.
This is to keep warriors with winning records from sitting out until the end of
the contest.
6. If a warrior is killed during the contest, the replacement cannot enter the
contest.
7. If a warrior is killed, bloodfeuding is allowed, but only by a warrior that is
active in the contest.
8. If a warrior is run after being eliminated, the manager is disqualified from the
contest, no questions asked.
9. Challenges are legal, up or down.
10. Contest will keep going until 1 warrior is left without three losses, and that
warrior, of course, is accounted the winner.
11. All managers participating will be asked to purchase a rollup certificate, to be
awarded to the winners of the contest.

As I have already said, and according to participation, rollups will be awarded
to the first and second place managers. So the majority and minority of the rollups
will be determined when all are accumulated.

Our next Winter Face-to-Face will be held on Martin Luther King weekend, Friday
through Sunday, 14-16 January 2005, at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona (4400 S
Rural Rd--this is the same hotel as last year). Room rates are $139.00 per night,
1-4 occupancy, which includes breakfast. The rooms are blocked. The reservations
number is 480-897-7444; tell them you're with the "Reality Simulations Face to Face
Convention" block. Our room block will be released in mid-December, so please make
sure you reserve your room before then!
Room rates include a full cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary two-hour
manager's reception. There is a free shuttle to the airport, as well as free parking.
The hotel is located down the freeway in Tempe. All rooms have high speed internet
(for an extra charge). There is a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool, and of course a
bar and Mexican restaurant inside the hotel. And there's Denny's right across the
street. Look for transportation info in the tournament information sheet.
The tournament information sheet/strategy sheet should be out sometime in late
November/early December.
