Notes from the arena champ.
I am ashamed to have been a part of the bloodbath we experience last turn. But
when you play with sharp toys, accidents happen.
Seaweed fact of the day: Seaweed has been used for centuries as fertilizer. It
is especially effective on light sandy soils. While I may not be universally
effective as a fertilizer, there are clear benefits with the right crop and
situation.

SPY REPORT
Turnout was light this turn. Either the bloodbath of last turn or the
tournament was the most likely culprit. In total, we saw 19 fights (including one
Dark Arena) with 35 warriors representing 8 teams. Both bloodfeuds were successful
and 5 of the remaining 16 fights were challenges.
Since no team had a memorable performance, good or bad, the most interesting
thing to report was THE INAUDIBLE's challenge of LITTER. Normally a striker beating
up a basher isn't newsworthy, but when the striker kills that fine young basher and
gathers his 3rd career kill in 13 wins, it is definitely something to report!
Perhaps next turn we'll see a fight to the death for the throne as both our
duelmaster SEAWEED (who beat a Kung-Fu Master to retain the throne) and THE INAUDIBLE
appear to be killing machines. THE INAUDIBLE took over the career popularity award
from the inactive RAPTOR.
PUMPKIN ROLL received a favorable matchup with C++ and continues to roll through
the rankings undefeated. 6-0 with only 51 recognition. How far can our sweet
dessert go?
And one other fight ended in death. SOJUTSU killed TOKVY SWORDMAGE. If this
continues, the dead list will exceed the living list! Go Chimlevtal! Keep up the
great work!
THE CANUCKS were the most avoided team, receiving 7 of the 37 avoids. Who
wasted the most avoids on a team that didn't fight? GHOSTWALKERS 3.
CASPER was reported as the most challenged warrior, but I suspect it was a lack
of challenges that made it so. LIPOR was the the one that was got his challenge
through, winning in 2.
Next turn I'll report on the tourney. Hopefully we have great success to report
from our results (even a few kills would be enough to satisfy me!).

Commission. Each warrior may have up to 15 favorite sayings. Each saying must be
categorized Jeer, Gloat, Boredom, Ouch, Victory and may be up to 80 characters long.
