Notes from the arena champ.
As one of the ugliest plants in existence, it may surprise you that seaweed is
great for your skin, used in lotions, creams, soaps, and shampoos.
It is my job to attempt to avenge my fallen teammate Tar. Assur says I should
have an advantage, but that there are several ways Raptor could beat me.
I wish I could say that today will be my last fight in Chimlevtal, but Assur
tells me my time, while short, is not likely to be at an end. He says the commission
often holds warriors back and such will likely be the case with me. Soon, though...

SPY REPORT
A light turn out this turn. Perhaps too many parties, shopping, and busy
schedules. Seven teams fought 33 warriors in 16 fights and a Dark Arena contest.
Only 6 of the fights were challenges (3 bloodfeuds). Interestingly, not a single
stand in this turn other than the obvious dark arena. All but one of the challenges
resulted in victory. But I would pick that fight as the highlight of the week.
SEAWEED, our duelmaster, bloodfeuded RAPTOR. SEAWEED was bested by RAPTOR in a
2 minute veteran's Bloodfeud Title duel. The fans always turn out to see RAPTOR. He
is the fan favorite, for good reason and they were not disappointed this turn. And
both warriors' abilities were rewarded by the commission with the status of Lord
Protector. Clearly these are two of the top warriors currently fighting in
Chimlevtal. Congrats to both, but especially RAPTOR, who grabbed 3 awards for THE
CANUCKS, including the throne.
For different reasons, the successful bloodfeuds were also fights of notice this
turn. TRASH CAN continued to take vengeance on the AVENGER, RYO (who also happened
to be this turn's most challenged warrior). Apparently Smithy doesn't believe in
limiting vengeance, as he made another sizeable down challenge against the AVENGERS.
CANDLESTICK overpowered ADIOS AMIGO in a 1 minute bloody one-sided Challenge
struggle. On the other side of the spectrum, MR. FREEZE put the chill on THE
INAUDIBLE's run of victories. MR. FREEZE devastated THE INAUDIBLE in a 1 minute one-
sided Bloodfeud contest.
Quite a bit of action, though, for a turn with only a few fights. In team news,
the unchartered LANGUAGE BARRIER had one of their best turns here in Chimlevtal and
the best turn of any team this turn. 3-1 with 3 awards (plus a Dark Arena). Good
job to them and one can only hope they continue to see success (unless you're the one
facing them, of course).
No kills, and while the challenges were not flying, the avoids still were. 18
warriors made 32 avoids to 12 different teams. WHAMMO & THUDDA 4U received 7 of the
avoids (3 from each of BASH BROS OCEAN and LANGUAGE BARRIER), while USEFUL WEAPONS
and THE STORM REAVERS each received 5 avoids.
Unless there is an objection from a manager or warrior before then (through a
personal ad), next turn's report will be our holiday edition as we celebrate both
Christmas and the New Year between now and next turn (which means less reporting on
the action and more fun and partying). -- Belinda
