Greetings CHIMLEVTAL! I wasn't sure where I was this morning when I woke up from last night's key party at, uh, whatever the inn is called in this city. So, just who is this stunning specimen of a man, you ask? I am your super sexy swinging Duelmaster, FIRST DATE. As expected, I embarrassed yet another warrior from MIDDLE WAY on the sands and emerged victorious! After posing with a few fans who wanted to touch the golden locks of a true champion, I walked out of the arena and took my rightful place on the throne. Things are a little fuzzy after that. However, I fully expect to be here another turn or two before Lady Greywand invites me to her wild and crazy island party. But enough about me. What is it that makes CHIMLEVTAL so great? Is it the uncompromisingly arrogant Lady Smith and her USEFUL WEAPONS? The overtly homophobic warriors of MIDDLE WAY? Now, LEGIONS OF FATE had a squirrelly start, but I'm sure they'll come around. Perhaps, the only team here with a little backbone is NUMBERS GAME. I salute them. Anywho, let's hear it for the warriors of CHIMLEVTAL everyone! *Applause* I'm sure you'll be hearing from me next turn because nothing bad ever happens to me and you all sadly lack what it takes to dethrone me! -- First Date After Midnight SPY REPORT Welcome to the Chimlevtal Christmas Edition Report. I know you all enjoyed the Thanksgiving report, so why not another special edition!?! First off, I'll get the important things out of the way. Here is my wish list to each of you. If you can't accomodate these, I can take check or cash. USEFUL WEAPONS: a pair of your best daggers, smaller is better for concealment. AFTER MIDNIGHT: Fine wine (not the stuff you all drink) OTTOBAHN: Tickets to the Indy 500, yes please! NUMBERS GAME: Lottery Tickets!!! SHADOWHOLD: Hmmm, not a big video game player, so surprise me with something rare and valuable. AVENGERS: Mint, signed Avengers #1 comic would be fantastic. MIDDLE WAY 7: More Ads!!! I love them! Technically, I love all the managers and warriors who write ads, spotlights, and columns because it makes our fine city better, but your ads are special (and not in the same way that your warriors are special). But of course I love your ads! LEGIONS OF FATE: and a Partridge in a Pear Tree Thanks in advance! AFTER MIDNIGHT just missed winning 5 awards this turn. Guess they'll be paying customers next time. They know how to use all the tools available and this turn they avoided USEFUL WEAPONS. Either AFTER MIDNIGHT missed an avoid, or USEFUL WEAPONS broke through the avoid, because LASSO managed to challenge THIRD BEER. One would think that it'd be easy to rope someone so far inebriated, but not this time. THIRD BEER stumbled to victory in 3 minutes. My report says that PANDA ROSS was the most challenged warrior, yet matched up against NUMBERS GAME's warrior, BREXIT. I always wonder about the quality of the information I'm getting from the commission when things like this happen. PANDA ROSS won in 7 minutes, btw. FIRST DATE is cruising to the Isle of the Eye after challenging and beating the top contender, MANDIN ORWELL. WITCHING HOUR extended to an 8-0 record. We're well into the impressive start realm. Doesn't matter if this one was against a mere dangerous criminal (notice the lower case. npc's don't deserve all caps). 8-0 is 8-0 is fantastic. If I were sitting in the Challenger Adepts, I know who I'd be challenging next turn! Unless, of course, I was AFTER MIDNIGHT'S manager, in which case I know who I'd be avoiding. When next we meet, it will be 2019. And that first turn in 2019 will be the last turn before the face to face tourney. Maybe we'll have a surprise result this time! I'm not holding my breath, but I can certainly hope!
