Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings CHIMLEVTAL! As promised, your Super Sexy Swingin' Duelmaster returns.
Had you any doubt? I am back for one show and one show only! It is no surprise that
I shall be imparting my final words of wisdom to a sellout crowd. ( 'Cause you're all
a bunch of sellouts!)
Self-improvement. That's what life is all about. Though you can hardly improve
on perfection. So after oiling up to catch some morning rays I caught myself in the
mirror on the way out. I felt drawn. Compelled! (After all my immortal body is
pretty compelling.) And I had an epiphany. I concluded that I must be:
14-4-14-17-11-13-11 SL Master Initiative, Master Attack, Master Decisiveness,
Expert Riposte, Ambidextrous, Very Frail, Normal Endurance, Good Damage.
Favs: Longsword (I already knew this), High/Low and I Learn Decise.
Okay, Duel fans, get ready. If my final challenge were to go out to POOL CUE
that would be a spectacle. That would be a thing to see! That would excite the
crowds. That would give BELINDA something to write about. Well, get used to
disappointments! I will be AVOIDING Useful Weapons and Challenging the warriors of
MIDDLE WAY in an attempt to butcher a beast before departing for the Isle!
Speaking of BELINDA... I'd like to mention that she is the true reason this city
is so great. She knows the arena games inside and out from death to down challenging.
Now there is a woman who speaks my language (not to mention has curves in all the
right places). You are forever my favorite dear spy reporter and truly you shall
always have a special place in my heart.
Now as I understand I am being shipped to HOME GUARD for my so-called retirement.
Though, I am concerned by my manager's nefarious travel arrangements. I am literally
being boxed up and shipped by a local mercantile inside a cardboard box. "Don't
worry," he says. "I'll poke a few holes in it. You'll be fine!" Uhhh...
Well, this is it, everyone! The moment you've all been waiting for, when I
finally shut the front door for good. I hope you enjoyed this extremely long column,
though I'm sure several mega managers have already thrown this newsletter away. But
there is one thing I know for certain, and that is... LADY SMITH hung on my every
word. So here's a kiss, I chose you to end this with.

SPY REPORT
I hope all of you caught FIRST DATE's wonderful duelmaster column. What a guy!
And what a slasher! The rest of you wanna-be managers should look at his assets when
trying to find a fantastic slasher. Understandably, his future career as a gladiator
is not exactly promising, so I get the retirement deal. Putting holes in the
retirement box was a nice touch, though. More than many managers do! I'd bet the
Smithy's don't even give severance pay when they cut a warrior loose.
FIRST DATE defended the throne against LUMUS NELP, leaving it wide open. OROKE
STONEMAGUS challenged the top contender MANDIN ORWELL and won meaning MANDIN (the most
challenged warrior) was sitting at the minimum recognition of 102. So POOL CUE was
the last man standing. Maybe the COPS! were exercising restraint, but I think they
should have pulled out their guns! Pool cues in a gun fight are just as useless as
knives! POOL CUE was victorious and is our new Duelmaster. That was a random
matchup.
Challenges were all over the place. Half the fights ended up being challenges
(which if you track such things, you know that is a lot of activity). So it shouldn't
be surprising that 17 warriors sent avoids, either. Chimlevtal has a lot of managers
that pay attention! NUMBERS GAME was the most avoided team (by LEGION OF FATE). I am
also glad to report that three teams are now issuing down challenges. Hopefully we
can make Chimlevtal a down challenge friendly place!
I haven't reported on the 10 turn records in awhile. It amuses me that Aimed
Blows and Lungers both sit under .500! Wall of Steels, in spite of going 5-0 this
turn, are only barely above .500. Pikers and Rippers are winless in the last ten
turns. Bashers are showing why they should be just as popular as those two styles!
TABOR SKULLSHOT had his win streak scummed away! 5-0 is a nice start, but far
from the impressive area! Meanwhile, WITCHING HOUR has well established impressive
and is heading for historic! 9-0 after challenging and beating HANZO. I've heard
that 8-0 is the mark for impressive. I assume Assur is a reliable source for making
that claim. I know he does keep a lot of history and data on such things.
