Notes from the arena champ.
What fun! I got to smack on a Cop. Easy Peasey. Whack. Whack.
After all, it was only an After Midnight Cop. Sorta bottom end, ya
know? All of 'em. Bottom feeders. But it was fun all the way. Yeah!
Shoulda worn Kevlar, Copper! Har har. Dumb cop. (Prolly gets it
from his manager. Ya think?) Really wasn't fair me fightin' a
twinkledink, but I had fun whackin' Did I say that before?
Movin' on, ya be careful challenging. I like ta hurtcha; get it?
Despite what that there bimbo Belinda says, pool cues HURT! I'm
warnin'. Just sayin.

SPY REPORT
Now THAT is a good pattern. We went from 7 active teams and 17 fights to 9 active
teams and 20 fights. If you can maintain any type of growth over time, you get big
quickly (btw, that works for all you middle-aged (or old) managers, too). BOOK OF
THOMAS and BASH BROS OCEAN returned to action at 2-1-1 and 2-3-0-2, respectively.
Welcome back. (It's about time). That one kill was the only one of the turn and it was
a beauty! BLOOD METAL murdered R.R. SPIKE in a one minute bloody one-sided brawl. I
love death, but this might have been too much for me. Usually railroad spikes have
the blood of their victims on them, not the other way around. That can't have been
pretty. (And no apologies for ignoring the killing of another fratsfa slave. They
deserve death. I've actually lobbied for slaves from other places. Can't we kill
some of them, too? I put Sunset on the top of my list). Oh, and BLOOD METAL has 2
kills in as many fights.
Only 6 challenges this turn, but half of them looked somewhat abusive. POOL CUE,
THIRD BEER, and COPS! all went after MIDDLE WAY dinosaurs. Only POOL CUE and THIRD
BEER won (the DC's), but I'd bet all three got decent or better learns!!! And what
happens to dinosaurs after enough time? They go extinct, right? Nope, they graduate
and become Lord Protectors. After even more time, they can attain other goals, but
that is off on the Isle of the Eye. MANDIN ORWELL will join POOL CUE next turn in
leaving for the Isle! Good luck to both of you. MANDIN will be missed by everyone.
And POOL CUE's bad columns will only be missed by me.
Total Parries gave up the top spot over the last ten turns by going 1-4. The
surprising part of that is that they gave it up to slashers. Really?!? Slashers are
the top style over the last ten?!? Shocking to me! USEFUL WEAPONS was the most
avoided team with 9 avoids from 6 warriors, edging out SHADOWHOLD (seven avoids from 6
warriors). LEGIONS OF FATE avoided the WEAPONS the most (3 warriors, 6 avoids). Can
you all imagine someone not liking the Smithy's so much as to send them 6 avoids? I
can! LEGIONS won't complain when their team goes 4-1, though! Those lousy commission
scribes failed to even bring me the most challenged warrior. Maybe I should lighten
up on that computerized spy reporter. He has the scribes working for him so he is
already at a disadvantage. Or maybe NOT!
Their one loss, though! That may be the biggest news of the turn. WITCHING HOUR
outwaited DAMIEN in a exciting 11 minute contest. That means the WITCHING HOUR has
achieved the big 10-0 milestone! A very nice match up if I may say so. (One that can
be repeated next turn, too, since WITCHING HOUR is still an adept).

BLOODGAMES at the WINTER FACE-TO-FACE
Congratulations to the winners of the Winter 2019 Bloodgames!
We held two Bloodgames arenas at the Winter Face to Face:
FTF-Style (DM 96): for Face-to-Face attendees, with turn-by-turn strategies
Mail-in-Style (DM 97): for all managers, with one strategy for all ten rounds
Each manager's Bloodgames team had ten warriors, one of each style, all attributes
according to the manager's desire (84 points total). After ten rounds of brutal
battles, the Bloodgames Champions are the living warriors with the greatest number
of kills (only one of each style in each arena). These champions have been granted
immortality and advanced to ADM! The winners were:
