Notes from the arena champ.
Very good fight with Cononel Klink. He had me on the rope up until he ran out of gas!
I believe I heard him mutter something along the lines of "No one has ever escaped
from Stalag 13!" as he was helped off the sands. I'm not quite sure what that meant,
but I'll make sure never to go there!
My challenges this turn go to Hurricane, who I have matched up with twice before. It
will allow me to see how well I fight with my favorite weapon, which ended up being
Epee. Who knew?!? I'll bring a backup for obvious reasons.
I graduate with a lot less in the way of skills and FE than my brother in arms, Rogue.
It was fun to keep the title in the family for a few more turns. I now leave it to
either Tantrum or Contempt to get up here next. That likely won't happen for quite a
few turns, if at all.

SPY REPORT
Today is ASSASSIN NATION day! With two successful challenges and two warriors not
getting humiliated by stand ins, they successfully pulled off an undefeated turn.
Sure it was 'only' 4-0. Sure it included two stand ins. Sure it 'only' resulted in
two awards. But I don't see anyone else bragging about impressive undefeated turns.
This will set them up nicely to continue to hold the current top team spot for the
immediate future. The challenges included the second best down challenge of the week,
DEVIOUS challenging BAD BURRITO. While only 3 points of recognition, it was a fairly
big experience mismatch.
The best downchallenge of the week was made by AFTER MIDNIGHT. A beautiful
welcome to losing challenge from EMERGENCY ROOM at 19 recognition to the lowly 0-1
PLAGUE. I do hope the kill desire was set higher than the recognition difference,
though the fight didn't end in death (no fights outside the dark arena ended in death
this turn).
As promised, RAVAGED challenged and again withstood a HURRICANE. That left the
throne wide open and HURRICANE 'almost' managed to take the throne in the loss.
Fortunately, SGT. ROCK's challenge and victory over HANZO netted him one recognition
point more than HURRICANE and SGT. ROCK has the throne. HANZO's loss did keep him in
the challenger champs, giving him requirements for an invite to the Isle of the Eye.
Congratulations to AVENGERS!
Another favorite fight of mine this week was a battle of losers: COCKFIGHT (31-
6967) (1-6-0,17) of AFTER MIDNIGHT challenged CHERRY PIE (31-7017) (1-7- 0,17) of
MIDDLE WAY 7. Does the winner/loser of this one even matter?
And the stats I know you're all looking for: Most challenged warrior: BASORN
KUBIKIRI. 43 warriors in 25 fights from 11 teams representing all 10 styles. (4 Dark
Arenas, 11 challenges, 3 stand ins). USEFUL WEAPONS was the most avoided team, with 9
avoids. (AVENGERS had 8, JUST DESSERTS and AFTER MIDNIGHT had 7 avoids). All total
27 warriors made 51 avoids (almost 70% of active warriors). THE OTHER ONES issued 1/3
of the avoids to USEFUL WEAPONS.
