SPY REPORT
In a not so surprising development this turn, both LASAGNA and MAJOR SNAFU sat
out. The prospect of facing BAKERS 7 was just too much to handle! Or maybe their
entire teams sat out. I like them cringing in fear better, so I will go there. That
paved the way for SEAGULL to face the duelmaster. The betting was heavily in favor of
the duelmaster. So many expected a quick fight with BAKERS 7 staying on top! Well it
was a quick fight... But at the end, BAKERS 7 lost and SEAGULL beat the odds and came
out on top! Congratulations to the BIRDS. The last time they had a warrior near the
top, it didn't end well! This time... Hail to the new duelmaster, SEAGULL!
Surprisingly, there were ZERO challenges this turn. Go figure. Granted, there
were only 12 fights outside the dark arena, but I cannot remember that ever happening
before. Eight warriors sent avoids, so managers are paying attention. Since the most
avoided teams only got two avoids each, there is nothing to report there.
No deaths, but look at this...
FAIRY TAIL devastated ULEK in a 2 minute gruesome one-sided competition. Who said you
need to challenge to avenge a death?!? Match ups work just fine.
With WHAMMO & THUDDA 4U! inactive, that left the current top team award up for
grabs. THE OTHER ONES edged out BIRDS with 7 wins. Most were surprised that BIRDS
was even there at all, but their 4-1 record this turn was the best of any team and
with the throne, earned them three awards, but not the current top team...
Smithy published the only ad for the turn and thanks as always for that.
