Duelmaster again, and graduating besides? I never expected this, and I don't
think Jorja did, either. But I'll take it!

SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly ARVAT games. STYLISH caught the eye of many in the
gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested BASKERVOLE and was awarded 16 points
in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, GHOSTZAPPER put down TED
EVIL, causing him to lose 4 points of recognition in the process. Not for nothing
has FIZGIGG in the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this week he's
proven his combat skill yet again. Informants "close" to the city champion have told
me that he never fights without pantyhose on beneath his armor. Watch out!
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. My inside sources tell me that the
team to beat in ARVAT these days is DIAMOND THRONE. At least, most blades in town
are looking to avoid them. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was
that spent the better part of last week avoiding DIAMOND THRONE. Indeed it was
SARATOGA GLORY. Mighty fighters cannot but expect competition from those below.
BASKERVOLE take warning! You have more than a few enemies in ARVAT. As a gladiator
gets older, the icy grip of fear lays hold of his heart. True, TRADEMARK? Who could
miss your "brave" challenge of SILVER MINNOW? The weight of the challenge fell hard
upon SILVER MINNOW and predictably she was overcame by TRADEMARK. This is how to
arouse the anger of an entire guild! SOLAR MAN must really be harboring a grudge
against the FISHERMAN'S WHARF guild! Merciless, 23 challenged down LOACH points this
week to duel with he. All the city knows the duel went in favor of SOLAR MAN. I
shall not fail to spread the word in other cities of this "mighty" victory.
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. Cruelly, SOLAR MAN of SARATOGA GLORY has
slain the lesser ranked LOACH. Word already flies around town that FISHERMAN'S WHARF
plans a bloodfeud! Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears arms. One thing
is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
The girls are as pretty in ARVAT as ever I remembered them....and the fighters
as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! More than a sharp eye must I keep, indeed
a stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari await me!

ZalCon2 Updates (1/9/04)
The contest will be starting on the turn due February 23rd, 2004 and run for 20
turns.
Only one team will be allowed for each manager in the contest, regardless of
whether additional teams are announced as contest entries. No exceptions for any
reason.
The Style Master points should read that there is +1 point for beating a member
of your own style even if the warrior is not registered for the contest.
Rolling points for consecutive turns as Style Master means that your warrior
gets the extra point every turn after the first 3 that he continues to hold the
title.
The points for Quality Wins should be clarified to read the winning warrior is
ranked below by the number of recognition points needed for each bonus point at the
start of the fight. For example, Warrior A (3-2-0, 17) beats Warrior B (4-1-0, 35)
and receives 2 bonus points under Quality Win for the 18 point difference in the
ranking.
I believe that is all the clarifications for the moment, please feel free to
